The moderators will change the font automatically, so you have to put a note in for the moderator if you want to keep it.

that has nothing to do with the format you submit in. You can add html tags yourself if you know how.
< b >Words to be bolded< /b >
for example.
Just remove the spaces from between the <> and those words will be bolded when published.
< i > and < /i > works for italics.

I use Google Docs
I use Google Docs. Once I'm ready to post I download a .docx (MS Word) format to my hard drive, then post that version to Lit. It preserves italics that way.

I use Google docs with the HTML tags written in, and when I’m done, I just select all, copy, and paste it into the text box on Literotica for submissions. Easy peasy, nothing gets lost, no messing around with uploading docs, check the formatting and submit. Done.

Same. I haven't had issues with lost formatting, apart from trying to centre a paragraph. (It was an advertisement in a paper.)

I write in Google docs, but before posting, I copy-paste the entire text into a word document and search for font (bold or italics) and insert html code. From there I copy paste into the Literotica submission page. I've had some bad experiences with Literotica correctly representing italics and bold font when submitting as word documents.
