The Halls and Walls of The Malls.

Lots of movies were done in and about malls. Flicks like Opportunity Knocks and Mannequin were done in standalone stores as I recall, but could have been done in malls. The kids in Fast Times had some scenes in one.

Could there be stories here? Maybe a collaborative series where a authors pick and focus on a store or a group of mall junkies that hang out there every weekend.

I remember some pretty kinky stores in a couple of malls, costumes and lingerie fit for strippers for example.

Think of all the dressing room and shoe store fantasies.

One of the Living Dead movies was set in a shopping mall. It provided plenty of opportunities for interesting scenes. I think it would be a great setting for a sex romp. Especially after hours in the bedding department of the large anchor stores.

There was a time when some of them used to have holiday events, Santa's Workshop, Easter Egg Hunts, Valentine's Theme evenings, Haunted Houses and all sorts of stuff. Then people started doing stupid shit.

There's your story right there. The malls are empty due to Covid. What better place for a horny young couple to break into to have sex? Or maybe it's an entire gang of horny youngsters looking for a free venue to have an orgy.

See, that's part of it ... they used to do things like that. Not break in as such, but some of them had Halls or event sections that they would rent out for dances or meetings.

So, the authors could pick up n that and have an employee holiday party that gets into fun stuff. Imagine the girls from the lingerie store and the jocks from the sporting goods stores.

Somebody mentioned the overly helpful fitting room attendants.

Some malls had gyms or fitness centers, so that brings up a whole world of ideas.

As in Mannequin, go into the fantasy almost SciFi realm and let the store mannequins come to life after hours.

There were/are models that pretend to be 'live' mannequins, so let some nerdy horndog try to cop a feel and see what happens.

People get arrested for shop lifting or indecent exposure and try to talk the Mall Cops out of calling the real cops.

And of course, there's the whole business angle. The stores have to negotiate with mall management to get placement for their stores, so what are they willing to do?

Then the mall owners have to deal with the local government which means more wheeling and dealing

Maybe add in media people and celebrities that come in for personal appearances or autograph signings.

Heard back from Admin. They don't think it's a horrible idea, so I need some more feedback. Is this something anyone would be interested in taking on?
