We have people in Congress that would fail a background check for even some low level Government jobs. That must stop. Before you can file papers to run, you should have to submit to and pass a rigorous background check. If you fail, you cannot be on the ballot.

Over the last year I applied for various jobs & training positions. In order to earn an extra buck and learn new skills or a new trade and then earn money doing something that I Actually enjoy doing.

It was a disheartening experience, I felt the need to constantly explain to those judgmental morons that there's nothing wrong with me (neither mental illness -well, I might have it, but I never sought official recognition for it -- nor do I have skeletons in my closet).

We, laypeople, the lower echelon are being constantly vetted, intruded upon with rapey background checks and "there's something wrong with you until you prove otherwise" attitudes.
Why aren't our officials subjected to the same crap we often face?

I am reasonably confident that the intelligence reports on Donald Trump and his family are so damning that even a Democrat administration will be reluctant to publish them at least for the first 30 years.
