Today I joined with more than 30 of my colleagues in requesting an investigation from the Acting House SAA, Acting Senate SAA, and USCP into the suspicious behavior and access given to visitors to the Capitol Complex on Jan. 5, 2021 - the day before the attacks on the Capitol.

Do recall that the leader of the Proud Boys said he’d been invited to the White House the week before & posted photos of himself there. The WH said he was on a public tour. Weren’t public tours stopped because of COVID?

Capitol tours have been closed for almost a year. That's what caught Rep, Sherrill's attention: She saw Rep Paul Gosar leading a very large group all around the Capitol the day before the Trump Putsch, including areas not normally open to the public.

It seemed like the whole thing was facilitated by corrupt elements within government and law enforcement. Those traitors need to be identified if they do indeed exist.

Yes, I am starting to get it that racism IS embedded in American society, but in this particular situation the reason this breach happened is far more sophisticated than that. Another clue is that Trump& left quickly after stirring the protesters, to cover his ass; he Knew the breach could happen.

Please comment more in this line. I root to read more sophisticated posts than the "I hate teh racists" typical GB ones.

Being a professional cop and being close to Trump for any length of time will not, I think, make you sympathetic to Trump. I've worked with Secret Service people. I don't think I'd find anyone as professionally neutral anywhere else.

Where did you read that it was Biden who purged the Secret Service detail that is going to be assigned to him? Cite, please.

The entire Secret Service detail for a president is usually changed for a new president coming in. (Some of the former president's team go with him into retirement--but even there there's an infusion of different people). I think Biden is being assigned some members of the team he had as vice president, but I don't think he picked any of the team. I don't think that's how it works.
