Donald Trump is widely blamed for the pandemic response in the United States. Canada is going through multiple lock downs and they've closed the border for a year. They are doing terrible. Is it their leftist leader's fault?

Much like the US, perhaps even more so, Public Health is a Provincial responsibility, not a federal one.

So it is the Premiers of each Province who dictate if there is a lock down, not the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister did close the border, to the chagrin of Trump, who has continually demand we open it. Going so far as to try and blackmail us to change the decision by re-imposing Tariffs. The results of Trumps tantrums...the border is still closed to non essential travel.

So if you are going to comment, please try and at least understand who has the levers of power, instead of looking like an uneducated fool.

In fact in this particular time in history, Americans should be trying to look as intelligent as possible, since most of the world looks at Republicans as the dumbest fools to walk the face of the earth.

I put most responsibility on governors, you put it on Trump. If you put the blame on Trump then you can’t absolve your prime minister, that’s an argument without a distinction.
