Since 1945, American Secretaries of State traditionally take a "victory lap" around Europe when the time of their administration draws to a close. Secretary Pompeo planned accordingly. He cancelled his trip today when every foreign minister he planned to meet with cancelled out on him.

This is the diplomatic equivalent of a slap to the face, and the first time it's every happened to an American Secretary of State.

That's the most inane part of Trumps whole narrative.

NOBODY likes China. Trump's approach to dealing with China wasn't original or effective.

Obama was trying to pass the TPP as a bulwark against Chinese expansion as well as a curb to Chinese aggression.

Trump's ham handed approach to diplomacy alienated allies and emboldened China.

Trump's coup attempt has only further strengthened China's hand and those of other economic, political, and military adversaries.

I don’t see that as being the reason why she finds it problematic. The articles I read said she feels it’s problematic because the government should regulate social media and that America shouldn’t let companies regulate themselves.

There is a compelling public interest in lies not being broadcast as truth. Current events speak for themselves.

I am not talking about opinions. Watch as much Fox as you will and chose to believe if all Democrats are baby eating lizard people or not. Or if a certain public policy will make the DOW go up or down.

But you cannot make up your own mind if truth and lies are so intermingled as to prevent you from arbitrating.

Take the Pizzagate lies. Edgar Maddison Welch is in prison because he was unable to distinguish the facts from the fictions when he went in shooting looking for HRC in the basement.
