Hi all,

I'm new here and just wanted to say Hi! I'm a mature (nearly 50) yr old lady in the U.K. I decided last year to start living life to the full and so began writing erotic, well if I'm honest, porno style short stories, which I have self-published on Amazon. I haven't sold many, but the folk who have downloaded them love them, which makes me feel good.

So I expect to be around on here for a good while. Just got to get the hang of the site and where things are. Might post some of my images too...did I say I took up amateur modelling too!! lol.

Mr. Russ, would you please clarify a point from your last post? You noted that 'Nudists come and through here regularly..." and I was wondering: are these 'Nudists' nude or naked? As I have read in a story on this site from a few years ago, 'nude' just means that you don't have any clothes where-as 'naked' refers to a person interested in some type of adult activity, preferably with another person who is also naked.

I'm just a curious newbie...

Nude vs naked? Both are sans clothing. Purists may disagree, but I lean toward nudity being by choice and nakedness being something has less choice in. Nudity need not imply sexuality, to my mind.

In Russ’ case, I believe he is referring to those who prefer being unclothed.

Between "naked" and "nude," I think of "naked" as more erotic. It has more of a flavor of the naughty and forbidden.

You pose nude for an art class, or hang out nude at a beach with many other nude people.

But if you're running down a public street on a dare, you're naked.

In the privacy of a bedroom with a lover, it can go either way, but I think "naked" is the sexier word.

I just did a search for stories that use the term "stark naked" in the text or title, and there are 10,182 of them.

Then I searched for stories with "stark nude" and found 51.

So there are a few, but it's rare. I agree it doesn't sound right.

No. 7. = stark naked adj. 1 Now rare.

Closest relation is 4.d. Of landscape or a feature in the landscape: stiff in outline or formation; (hence) bare, barren, desolate.
