I do this every year; buy something for myself between Christmas and about Jan 8th.

I was looking at deals on TV's for several days, but I'm happy with the one I have...so that sort of fizzled out.

Now I'm thinking about a new guitar amp.

If there's something I want, I don't need a special reason to buy it.

How about this year you get yourself a "moral compass", and become a more upstanding Litizen on the GB? ;)

hey ...

No wonder the economy's in the toilet!

You dudes need to go buy something.

gonna do my part to stimulate the economy just after the first of the month...been saving all year... after the first I'm hiring a hooker to take care of my year-long abstinence.

TO BE CLEAR: This is from the guy who threw tantrums on the GB using no less than 3 different troll alts, just because he lost the Dead Pool multiple times.

I bought myself a toolbox!

I need a bigger one. Mine is 1980s-vintage, rusted and too small.

I have a shitload. A 24" Stanley plastic one that has basic house type stuff in it, a 24" aluminium flight case with all my electrical stuff, meters, leccy screwdrivers, soldering gear in it. And about a dozen DeWalt T staks for everything that doesn't live in the seven drawer cabinet from Halfords. But I have a lot of tools.

Can’t buy anything that is not considered an essential. Everything is roped off, covered with plastic or a tarp.
My shopping is minimum
But there is Amazon

Not that I have loads but everything is either in a plastic box or tossed in the kitchen drawers. Can never find owt straight away. Got a lovely old vintage wooden one on eBay with the joiners name on it.

Hope it's not fucking haunted.

I've got an 8x4 sheet of chipboard in the garage that I'm going to mount on the wall and hang a load of spanners and hammers and pliers off.

I'd like a Line 6 Spider V 240 MKII with the effects pedal and wahwah please. :)

Bought a couple of replacement car parts and a gear oil syringe and gave them to myself Christmas morning. Can't think of anything else I need at this point.

What amp?

I'm getting a new phone, actually 2 one for the studio too.

I'm wondering if I should unbox it and test out the lights.
I don't think I will be able to return it next November...

Oh, nothing up to your grade, just a small bass amp for noodling. I have a butterscotch precision, same look as a micawber tele, in my living room. I’m attached to the instrument, so I like having it near my favorite chair. Mostly i just look at it, but like being able to pick it up to fuck around now and then.

The Acoustic B50C is on sale; it has a tilt back cab like the small ampegs, so it can sit back and point up at my ears. Sounds okay for a practice amp. It’s a bit ugly for my living room....I had a small roland basscube with some handy effects presets, lent it to a nephew two years ago...i like the way the rolands blend in to a living space.

I’d rather some something tastier sounding and completely monochrome.... the small ampegs are sold out around here. Not a lot of gear on the ground you can just go out and buy these days, so choices are limited for an impulse buy.

New tires and transmission service on my 2014 Silverado pickup. Its my mobile office.
