The sequel to A Motive With A Universal Adapter. It's a bit rough but will be a proper banger once the kinks are ironed out.

Yes. I spent my formative years at a boarding school where the dorms were scattered around the city, to teach the students about self-reliance and mobility. We did have curfew, but that didn't stop me from visiting my then-girlfriend once lights were out. Had to trek across town which took a good hour on foot.

Several times. Before I found my soul mate, I collected rejections like other people collect CDs or stamps.

Never.

Yes, when I was four years old. I woke up one night only to realize that my parents were gone and I was the only one in our apartment. So I put on some clothes and went out to look for them. Two hours later I was hopelessly lost and hadn't it been for some policemen, something dreadful might have happened to me.

No. My life has never been that miserable.

Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. To be honest, I prefer the home cinema experience. No idiots to ruin the movie by being on their phone all the time, plus I can freely rewind to try and see what the fuck just happened.

Yeah, happens sometimes.

No. But I did have sex after coming home from a torrential rainpour. Does that count?

More than a week ago. My lady love and I try to restrict our outdoors time to once a week for supply runs only. You know why.

Yes, a long time ago when my girlfriend and I used to “borrow” people’s apartments. She was the super’s daughter – he had about ten small buildings and she had the keys to feed cats and so forth. Sometimes the tenants knew and they didn’t care what we did in their places.

Twice it reached the point of obsession. Well, there was a third time when it was a celebrity I never met. That last one was – well, it was a mental health issue, I’ll leave it at that.

Sort of; I bounced a check and had to go to municipal court. No cops showed up; I got the notice in the mail.

To take out the garbage this morning.

Yes. Once it was over some Robin Williams line in a movie, forgot the title. (It was Cadillac Man, I looked it up.) It was all in the delivery, not the content. George Carlin did it with his comments on the Catholic Church and going to confession.

Two things: 1. Manhattan being almost empty during the pandemic. 2. Right after that, the really extensive looting damage in New York during the Floyd riots. Double whammy on the city. (I saw the looting and arson damage after the 1977 blackout, but that was only in the poorer areas.) 3. Actually, something else: the sheer number of people coming into a food bank where I was a volunteer. And this was before COVID-19 hit.

The sheriff's office put a chain on it (which is a federal crime by the way) because it was listed as property in the bankruptcy of the lessee. Neither the sheriff or the court checked the tax rolls to see who owned it.
Well, Lisa just got a pair of bolt cutters and flew the plane to Canada where they couldn't touch it.
