I believe it was so sound there was no fucking way they were going to hear it.

Despite this issue very clearly needing a ruling, at the moment doing so carries potentially catastrophic consequences, and there isn't a single justice on that court who wants to be part of that firing squad.

Because no matter how they rule it's going to be bad....best to just walk away from it and let the current situation ride.

Right, maybe you should enlighten our Supreme Court justices right after you enlighten all of the other judges who have shot down every one of these ludicrous claims. Generally, if you’ve come to a place where you think everyone else is crazy; it’s a good indication that they might not be the crazy ones. These are judges from a wide range of political ideologies, many of them extremely conservative, including trump appointed judges, and the rulings have been almost 100% consistent: not only did they rule against trump and company, they were emphatic in their rebukes that these cases were completely lacking in merit and facts.

Not one legal expert seemed to think this Texas lawsuit stood a snowballs chance in hell. It’s time to move on. We survived four years under trump, I’m sure you’ll do just fine coming to terms with a Biden presidency.

No other judges addressed this suit, and the SCOTUS won't touch it....because it's a hot potato and they all know it.

Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.

As it's pretty fucking clear, there are some state officials out there who acted way the fuck outside their authorities.
