The singer and actress most known for formerly dating Justin Bieber has called for Big Social Media companies to ban free speech of groups she doesn't approve of.

Claiming any group that promotes white interests or cultural identity is "a form of hate" and "should be banned," the singer fails to call for similar censorship of groups representing any other demographic population. She makes no mention of La Raza, BLM, or the hundreds upon hundreds of advocacy, activist, and cultural groups for every other possible demographic segment of the population other than whites.

This has all gotten so tiresome.

While I'm sure this air head didn't come up with this herself and her agent or handlers prepared the statement, its still pretty stupid.

Who cares?

Is she renowned for being an experienced political commentator?

“White interests” is a racist dog whistle. The KKK and others have used such terms forever, and such dog whistles should be censored out!

blah blah blah, This has all gotten so tiresome.

Uh, so have your posts, Russkie.

Just another woke celebrity proving she's an it girl to her peers.

Exactly. You can argue that terms like "white cultural identity" are not themselves racist, but 99.999% of people who use them say other things that leave no question that they are racist.

That and, you know, she's a singer and actress. It's not like she's president and saying there were "very fine people" at a white supremacist march or anything.

Interesting that the OP is so pea brained he cares what Selena Gomez says about politics. :D

Everyone in the entertainment industry considers themselves paragons of proper political posturing. They figure that they are where they are at because they are smarter than the rest of us and we rely upon their worldly acuity, sage wisdom and social compass to find direction (and maybe even purpose) in our lives.
