What I find interesting is people who keep championing the same tired politicians hustling the same failed policies and expecting different results.

On the downside, forget ever striking down the Patriot Act or the Espionage Act or anything of that highly unconstitutional threat to civil liberties. Obama has always carried out and maintained those grave breaches of freedom and the rule of law.

This is what U.S. politics has been reduced to. Which of your favorite celebrity politicians will get a coveted high profile job. Not one discussion on policy initiatives that might improve the lives of average Americans.
Why? Because the Democrats don't have any. Elections have taken on all the importance of who will be prom king and queen. What's the plan for jobs, environment, income inequality, housing, health care, the justice system, money in politics, endless war, etc. no one knows or cares.
