if the boxes are outdoors they should be accompanied by some form of protection: a security officer, security camera pointed directly at it

like a lot of ATM machines had to be moved into building foyers, perhaps it would have been wiser....

I guess the California Repubs are desperately trying anything...if this was in my state ID just drive up and remove the boxes. They are illegal and more like something dumped in the side of the road so I would go into "cleanup mode".

Yet SOMEHOW in this dark blue state of nothing but solid blue urban areas (like Baldwin Park where the collection box was located) you "assume" (without ANY proof) that the one who started the fire in the ballot box was a Republican trying to suppress the vote?

IMO the box was burned because some low IQ idjit thought it was one of the collection boxes that made the news recently and decided to burn all those Republican ballots that were inside.

What it comes down to is if the stupid Dems want to burn their ballots before they're counted, let them. But don't blame the R's for it.
