So, honestly, I don't see anything wrong with having this view and having it as a starting point for a discussion about these matters.

I really get it when folks get upset over having to do any of these things.

I've had to incorporate mask wearing in a lot of my work and let me tell you, it sucks. It's hot, it's hard to breathe when sitting still let alone when working physically.

I do it(follow guidelines)because it's effective at slowing transmission.

I wish people would or could follow guidelines only...many folks just will not and it is my belief that only through penalties will compliance come up to levels necessary to slow covid transmission down enough to not overwhelm hospitals and to buy time for a vaccine.

I stay the hell away from Human parasites as much as possible. I go to town rarely and almost always in early morning, just after stores open, but before the Human parasites invade enmasse. I rarely allow myself to be in closed rooms with Human parasites. Limits have been a couple of medical visits over the years prior to this silliness. I've cancelled or not scheduled them this year.


But I've done it on my terms, not because the Government told me to to.

Stores may display face diaper signs, but so far not a single one has said anything to me or any of the others who don't. If they do, I have a few places I can order from and have stuff ready for outside pickup. But those would be because THE STORES make an issue of it, not the fucking Government.

No, our culture screams "You're responsible for your own stupid." at every opportunity. If you take out 180,000 bucks to get a degree that is at best work just above minimum wage, don't cry and expect others to pick up the tab because you went and got a degree in "gender studies" instead of apprenticing as a plumber.

IF it were voluntary it wouldn't be a political issue ogg.

The problem is when the government pulls the guns out on it's people...which state/local governments, especially in (D) run areas, have been doing. Rioting is ok but don't you dare open your salon or shop to feed your kids!!!

The working class has a right to choose what path they take, we believe in equal opportunity for all not redistribution of equity, equality under the law =/= distribution of equity or equality of equity under the law. We're not a socialist shithole.

No one forces anyone into college debt, I went to college and paid my own way and expect others to do the same.

Fed employees do have a minimum wage and pay schedule. The private sector earns what the market bears based on value not progressive socialist values but on american values.

Single mothers with 3 jobs? They get child support and plenty of help from the feds. Self responsibility and self reliance used to be a core value but as we drift towards socialism people are becoming more reliant on government handouts, like you for instance.
