Former vice president and Democratic nominee Joe Biden insisted on Friday that voters don't deserve to know whether he would attempt to pack the Supreme Court if he wins the 2020 presidential election and if SCOTUS nominee Amy Coney Barrett is confirmed.

Biden interrupted, "Well you've been asked by the viewers who are probably Republicans, who don't want me continuing to talk about what they're doing to the court right now."

The reporter continued, "Well, sir, don't the voters deserve to know?"

A clearly irritated Biden responded, "No, they don't. ... I'm not gonna play his game, he'd love me to talk about, and I've already said something on court-packing, he'd love that to be the discussion instead of what he's doing now. He's about to make a pick in the middle of an election, first time it's ever been done, first time in history it's ever been done."

Tempest in a teapot. Court-packing has become as American as apple pie and lynch mobs. Court-packing is happening right now.

Get ready for a change in power, right-wingers. You had your four years of trying turn back the clocks to the 1950s, and it just did not work out. You blew it, again. The last four years were the last gasps of white supremacy and white oligarchy.

It is not just a Supreme court issue.

McConnell has packed all the Federal courts from bottom to top. A lot of very poor quality has been appointed at the bottom end and that in the years ahead will prove a major problem, because some of the appointees are barely out of diapers so will be there a long time.

So Coati doesn't know what court packing is.

Shocking.

Nobody was trying to turn the clock back to the 50's.......grow up and get a new deflection away from the fact that your politics are of the anti-American kind.

^^^Doesn't know what court packing means.

Neither does ishtat apparently.

They seem to conflate it with not confirming anti-American communist shit stains as justices.

And yet these oligarchies like Amazon, Twitter, Google and Facebook to name a few are funding the democratic party, let us not forget Bloomberg bailing out felons to vote democratic.

When pubs fill a vacancy its packing but when dems do it it's legitimate appointments. :D:rolleyes:

Give us a break, we just went through 8 years of the most corrupt administration in our history, Obama!!

Just how deep is your head buried in the sand?!

And Biden has been clear all along about his reasons for not giving a straight answer to the question of expanding the Supreme Court (which would be perfectly legal as long as Congress agrees): whatever he answers becomes the issue, when the issue should be the Republicans' rank hypocrisy in trying to get Justice Ofjesse on the Court weeks before the election when four years ago they said eight months before was too soon.

That's not hypocrisy....that's Senate privilege. ;)
