Wear a mask!

Lots of political power to be gained by Kung Flu fiaghtin'...

:D

Look Nikoli, we can turn them into sheep; all it takes is a little fear!

Speaking of fear, the fear is turning into anger. Not a fortuitous omen for the political control freaks.

200,000 USA Deaths as of today. A few more than your projected 37k deaths by the end of the year.

It's not as bad as the flu, eh?

Given the incubation period of the virus, it makes sense to wear a mask. It worries me that I could have the virus, not know it, and spread it to others because I'm being selfish.

However, why does the government need to be involved with mask wearing and businesses being open. What if businesses recognized the inherent dangers of the virus and wanted to protect their employees by requiring masks be worn by their patrons? Similar to restaurants signs: "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Service".

I honestly feel like the wear a mask, don't wear a mask debate becomes more of an argument about the government vs freedom debate than it is about wearing the stupid mask. (BTW, of course there are those who really believe the virus is just hype to make Trump look bad....different discussion in my opinion).

Because Americans have shown they are self-centered and can be really stupid. The government has a responsibility to protect the health of its citizens. It's quite obvious that Americans are not wired to voluntarily limit their own rights to protect others--not just in this pandemic but in other areas, such as gun control.

It's right out there in the open, exhibited daily. Was this a trick question?

Nope, no trick questions. We seem to focus on the minority because the bad apple disrupts the cart. Our media keeps forcing down our throats how stupid and illogical we are, but I am starting to question that theory. Again, what if we let businesses and people create the path? Okay, some businesses and people will not implement a mask requirement. Cool! I won't patron that business. But, if businesses lose a significant amount of business because people stop going due to there not being a mask requirement, don't you think the business would change their stance? Isn't that the main principal behind capitalism?

I know, a lot of questions...but things I'm thinking through while I sit locked up in my house because I don't want to be exposed to the virus. :)

Be blind to what Americans have done when left to their own sense of responsibility to others if you like. It's right there out in the open, though.
