More proof the virus panic is bullshit

The bullshit virus that is causing a global pandemic and the need for the leader of the free world to hold an internationally broadcasted emergency to the world that there is a vaccine for said non-existent pandemic is happening?

Do you know how fucking dumb you sound?

It's not the pandemic or the virus that's bullshit....it's the (D)'s hype and fearmongering over it that's bullshit.

When are you going to get that??

Do you know how fucking dumb you sound?

Except it’s not just Democrats mandating mask wearing, social distancing and tracing. It’s not just liberal arts colleges canceling in person classes. It’s not Democratic areas sending kids back to virtual learning after outbreaks.

If you really think the reactions have been identical??

If you want to ignore the vastly different reactions and pretend (R)'s have hyped and fear mongered over Covid just as much as democrats have?

You're either truly delusional or woefully misinformed and there is nothing I can say that would be worth wasting my time on.

What are they doing that is different, now? Are you saying responses to outbreaks are different? You made the claim. What exactly are you referring to? Republicans May have started out not embracing practices to reduce the spread, but they are getting it now.

So Trump saying Covid will disappear like a miracle and that Hydroxychloroquine is a panacea isn't bullshit???

You can't have it both ways genius.

Either Covid is a serious pandemic and Trump's minimization of the threat was a dereliction of his duty to protect the public, or the Democrats have inflated the threat of a novel virus that's no more dangerous than the common cold to serve their own interests.

Which is it???

What are they doing that is different, now?

Violating peoples human/civil rights....openly and proudly for starters.

Totally killing their economies, just straight up shut down EVERYTHING FOREVER.

Then there is the news/(D) statements and reporting like it's the end of the fucking world.

Are you saying responses to outbreaks are different?

Vastly.

You made the claim. What exactly are you referring to?

That (D)'s have hyped up and fear mongered over Covid yes.

I'm referring to their hyping up and fear mongering the public. I mean if you watch the news and what (D) pols are saying on TV you'd think it was the end of the fucking world. They've used it as an excuse to totally destroy their economies and violate the rights of their residents.

Republicans May have started out not embracing practices to reduce the spread, but they are getting it now.

So you have seen that the (R)'s response has been more reserved in nature especially with regard to use of authority. Especially with regard to nuking the economy and crushing anyone who DARES to make money or have any fun with the totalitarian fist of the government.

So Trump saying Covid will disappear like a miracle and that Hydroxychloroquine is a panacea isn't bullshit???

IDK...maybe it is maybe it isn't, I don't have to give a fuck either way.

Right now he's the guy that is NOT threatening to shut me down out of spite, in fact he's told those that do to pound sand.

That makes him the good guy :D

You can't have it both ways genius.

Not trying.

Highlighted my position.

It's slightly more dangerous, but only if you're part of certain key groups.

Nowhere near the doomsday virus the (D)'s insist we absolutely must destroy as much of our economy as possible if there is any hope of surviving.

While states prepare to open their economies at different rates, a CNBC analysis of how the country closed down finds the nation shuttered virtually as one.

Whether the state voted red or blue in 2016, whether it is run by a Republican or Democratic governor, or even whether it’s in the South or Northeast, the data shows historic economic shutdown from the coronavirus took hold in mid-March at roughly the same pace across the nation.

Then Republicans started opening up more quickly. Low and behold

https://apnews.com/7aa2fcf7955333834e01a7f9217c77d2

No more. An Associated Press analysis of coronavirus case data shows the virus has moved — and is spreading quickly — into Republican areas, a new path with broad potential political ramifications.

States that President Donald Trump won in the 2016 election account for about 75% of the new cases, a trend that has accelerated since the end of May. Counties that voted for Trump in 2016 have seen cases and deaths rising — now seeing an impact nearly even with counties that voted for Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Like magic voters and politicians came around to the use of masks.

Public opinion within the GOP has shifted in favor of masks. In a Navigator survey taken in late May, Republican voters said they were “pro-mask,” not “anti-mask,” by a margin of 24 percentage points. By July, that margin had grown to 38 points. In the May survey, 24 percent of Republicans said they generally didn’t wear masks; by July, that number was down to 13 percent. The July Navigator survey also asked voters to choose between two statements: that “there is too much shaming of people for not wearing masks” or that “people who don’t wear masks in public places are putting others at risk and deserve to be called out.” Most Republicans chose the latter statement.

As I stated earlier college and schools across the nation are going on lockdowns after attempting to have in person classes.

No, I do not see the “end of the world” on my news. I see sound advice based on science that Republicans are now embracing.

They were not shut down as long but the shutdowns were nowhere near as severe in red states/cities either.

Yes there was some consensus on some practical measures to hopefully curb the spread.

But the only states who used cutting off utilities as a punishment, the legit despotic dictator activities the planet would lose it's mind over if Trump did it? Totally ok when (D)'s do it to DIRECTLY violate 1A rights.

The only cities/states who threw small business owners in jail while letting "protesters" do hundreds of millions in damages and dozens of lives lost? Were all blue.

Double standard morality policing and human rights violations to bully people out of their civil rights. All things you clearly see as sensible and science based political measures to fight covid right?? Anything goes as long as it's a good Democrat doing it!!! Amirite??

Weird. It seems like you really do give a fuck.

You also want to assign blame to Democrats while giving Trump a free pass.

Your "position" is obviously bent over taking it in the ass from Trump.

The jury is still out on how deadly this virus will end up being due to the fact that many of the people who "recovered" have developed chronic conditions that make them more susceptible to other respiratory diseases and environmental insults. It is also not known how easily people can re-contract Covid.

This fall just might be the "doomsday" scenario you described due to Covid and the cold and flu season intersecting.

Of course where I live, there is a mask mandate and social distancing guidelines so hopefully that will mitigate the severity of the confluence of diseases.

You obviously have never worked in the health care field, so you probably don't know or "give a fuck" about the strain that has been put on the health care system, and it's potential collapse if a Covid/flu duet materializes.

Extremely selfish and typical.

Feel free to keep moving the needle to have something to scream into the void.

I didn't move any needle.

I said overhyped and fear mongering and I meant it.

If you think what a number of the most iconic (D) run cities are doing is reasonable that's fine.

If you think (R)'s have reacted just as severely as (D)'s? That's fine too.

But I don't, neither do a lot of others,

Only to the extent politicians will use the 'crisis" to abuse/steal from me.

For human rights violations??? Using covid as an excuse to engage in morality policing??

That's because Trump isn't doing those things, (D) mayors and governors are.

Yea....can't actually argue against that one can ya?? :D

Sure....so far? WEAK!!!!

This fall just might be the "doomsday" scenario you described due to Covid and the cold and flu season intersecting.

Lefties are hoping it's absolutely catastrophic and will no doubt hype every case of the sniffles to be exactly that right into November.

It's not selfish it's rational.

Yes that could happen and if it does it does.

But it hasn't, doesn't look like it will.

So there is no need to go violating human/civil rights or totally nuking their economies as though that's the only way to prevent such things from happening.

OP- yes, I agree, the virus panic from the deniers is bullshit and a total emarassment to the nation.

Oh good lord...
This thread has really brought out the crazy.
The only thing
"crazy"
was your continued insistence
that the coronavirus
was a "hoax"
You kept lecturing us that it was
long after Hannity told you not to do that
anymore
But then you always were a bit
slow on the uptake
you stupid half-breed half-wit.

The only thing

Rob leads off immediately with the lie that the left is desperate to ascribe everyone who disagrees that a totalitarian communist state is the end all be all answer to all our woes including COVID.

I don't even think anyone here said as much.

Can you cite anyone other than MAYBE Alex Jones saying the virus is a hoax??

I bet you can't.

It's not the virus that is the hoax Rob, it's the lefts hype and fear mongering over it that is a hoax.

Biden's virus attacks face harsh reality: worst death tolls are in Democrat-run states

Top three states for total and population-adjusted deaths are run by Democratic governors, state legislators.

s Democrats and their presidential nominee Joe Biden gear up to attack the president's response to COVID-19, they must grapple with a harsh reality: a third of all U.S. coronavirus deaths occurred in just three states controlled exclusively by Democrats.

Biden has sharply criticized Trump's handling of the pandemic since the first case was confirmed in the U.S. in late January. The Democratic presidential candidate claimed last week that Trump has allowed the disease to ravage the country and kill more than 170,000 citizens.

"Just judge this president on the facts," Biden said during his acceptance speech during the Democratic National Convention. "Five million Americans infected with COVID-19. More than 170,000 Americans have died. By far the worst performance of any nation on Earth."

Biden's assessment is only partly factual. The U.S. has indeed recorded the highest total number of COVID-19 deaths in the world, but adjusted for population the nation falls to number 10, behind numerous countries in Europe and South America, including the United Kingdsom and Spain.

Do yourself a favor (ok 2 favors)...

Look up the legal standard of care that any individual owes to another OR the general public at large and post it.

STFU with the bigotry.

Timmeh, using your own legal standard, do you stop at red lights? If so, why? Don't you have a "legal right" to drive unimpeded by others? Hmmm?

Yes.

No.

LOOK UP the "legal standard" of ordinary care.

THEN tell us how the exec orders of governors over mask mandates alter the law without using the legislative process.

THEN tell us whether this new "heightened" standard of care affects other common duties people owe toward each other and society.

Did the mask mandates actually change "ordinary negligence" to "strict liability" and then convert the result into a criminal offense?

We're not going to wait while you consult your great legal mind and come up with "but, but, GOOKS!!!"
