I did well at the liquor store this week. The Blantons is really hard to find. The Weller is too. I've got WhistlePig 10 year, but never seen or tried this 6 year, it's younger and less expensive so I thought I'd give it a go too.

I used to save them in a drawer. That was back when the whiskey was easy to find but then then it got hard to find and I thought it was useless. I was cleaning and threw them away at some point. Nope, never got the set.

No. Never got into drinking Blantons. But I was at a high end bar with some associates, and the bottle on the bar had the one top that one of them needed to complete the set. The bartender was nice enough to give it to him; he got a nice tip.

I did mom and pop more in the past, and the darker days of COVID. Now I’m back to my big box stores. I can’t beat the price.
If I can’t find what I want there, I hit up the mom and pop’s.

We don’t have booze in grocery stores here. If there’s a bottle of wine I want that I know TW has, I’ll try there first. It’s usually at least 3-10$ cheaper a bottle.
When you are buying 6 bottles of wine, it adds up.

Like I said, I want to support the small business owners as much as possible. I will usually get one or 2 nicer bottles there.
It’s a conundrum.

Same with sex shops. You don’t want them to go out of business, but the same vibrator is online for half the price. What’s a girl to do?

OMG, we'd literally fill an entire shopping cart, wine bottles laying down, when in a state with Total wine. People would be looking at you like you were nuts

I know, right? I've bought my fair share at both. and honestly, the shit that comes via Prime and doesn't have the big name on it is produced right next to the Doc Johnson in the same place....
