This was once one of my favorite threads. It’s probably floating in the Lit ether somewhere, but it’d be fun to start again. Especially since I barely know anyone these days.

1. I’m a trained classical counter tenor.
2. I spent a year in Verona, Italy singing opera.
3. I’ve done podcasts.

1) I once had 22 birds + a Military Macaw, 5 ferrets, 2 dogs, a bunny, 2 guinea pigs, a rat and a hamster all at the same time.

2) I used to race my dads 61 Chevy truck in the CV hills with his friends son and his friends. I got told on. I always won. He didn't punish me. He was proud.

3) I have an obsession with beautiful journals. I have several. They are ALL blank.

No. Im down to 2 dogs and not the same dogs as then. I sold most of the birds. I had birds that had babies which is how I ended up with so many. The bird shop bought most of them from me.

I've been arrested three times. Working backwards:

1. DUI, 20 years ago. Barely over the limit, but I was.
2. Indecent exposure - peeing in an alley while going from one bar to another. Charges were dropped.
3. Misdemeanor marijuana possession while a college freshman.

Sometimes I think I'm fortunate to have even survived my teens and twenties. Karma caught up when I had kids and had to help them work through those years themselves

That's it, just the three times?

I was arrested three time the first year I had a license

Two days after my 16th birthday. Drag racing. Given an out because my dad was best friends with the police chief. I swore I'd never do it again.

About three months later, arrested again, for . . . you guessed it. Drag racing. A few days after the arrest, I was racing again and blew up my engine. Saw the judge on my court date, and lost my license for thirty days.

And of that summer, I was busted with a 12 pack of Miller in my back seat. I hadn't been drinking, so I got a slap on the wrist, but lost my license for 90 days, lol.

At 24 I was half a point away from a 3 year suspension. I've had one ticket since, and it was for 5 over in a 40 zone (that had been 45 a month earlier)

As for me?

1. I have never been arrested or even been in a courtroom (other than jury duty twice).

2. I did get a ticket once but at the time you could do an 8 hour Saturday traffic school and get it off your record

3. I do have two tattoos that not many people have ever actually seen.
