Yeah, she...brought that fire.

A few moments, she was about to let the old school voice out on Cheeto's bullshit, but she reeled it back in. Wouldn'ta been bad. :D

She is very good at connecting with her audience.

The fact that a person as decent as Michelle is wholeheartedly supporting Joe Biden is good enough for me. Disliking Trump was actually enough, but her endorsement totally seals the deal.

This year, it just seems like infomercials...

Most people change the channel when it comes to polished product pitches.

“Eva Longoria, Actress & Convention Moderator”

It comes across like a PBS Membership drive featuring the music of Smokey Robinson.

A bit too much of Floyd, BLM and racism..... Talk like that will scare many people

Ted Koppel said the informercial comment way back in 1996.

Did you watch any of the DNC convention, housesquaw?
I'd wager you didn't.
You're just here to preen and bitch and moan.
....at least until NRO gives you your talking points later this morning.

That's exactly what the DNC wants to hear: "I wholeheartedly support someone the party didn't pick to lead the fight against a sitting President, with the lowest unemployment since FDR and the lowest ever black unemployment rate, and an incredible record on the economy, border security and foreign policy."

Lol..."MICHELLE FOR PRESIDENT"!

Former first lady Michelle Obama claimed on Monday night that the Trump administration was taking children from their families and throwing them into cages but failed to mention that her husband, former President Barack Obama, was the one who built them.

Michelle Obama claimed that “right now, kids in this country are” watching “in horror as children are torn from their families and thrown into cages.”

Michelle’s remark was just one of many false or misleading statements that she made during her speech at the Democratic National Convention.

The Associated Press said that Michelle Obama’s remarks were “a frequent and distorted point made widely by Democrats.”

“But what she did not say is that the very same ‘cages’ were built and used in her husband’s administration, for the same purpose of holding migrant kids temporarily,” the AP reported. “Trump used facilities that were built during the Obama-Biden administration to house children at the border. They are chain-link enclosures inside border facilities where migrants were temporarily housed, separated by sex and age.”

“At the height of the controversy over Trump’s zero-tolerance policy at the border, photos that circulated online of children in the enclosures generated great anger. But those photos — by The Associated Press — were taken in 2014 and depicted some of the thousands of unaccompanied children held by President Barack Obama,” the report continued. “When that fact came to light, some Democrats and activists who had tweeted the photos deleted their tweets. But prominent Democrats have continued to cite cages for children as a distinctive cruelty of Trump.”

I don't need to watch any convention to know trump is doomed. What about a clown that says an election is rigged before it even happens. I can not wait for him to start screaming fraud and having to be drug out of the White House. Oh God, make it so.

Wishful thinking doesn't work....

The powers that be probably aren't going to agree with me, but since television doesn't actually require the in-person convention to provide coverage, since all the real work (with the platform, etc) takes place in private settings, and since there's no reason to believe we'll ever again have the proverbial "brokered convention," why not just make all of them virtual? Without the demonstrations in the hall, constant applause, and difficulties inherent in a live production, everything flows a lot quicker. And obviously it's cheaper.

I like the fact that Ofrah its one of us. She relates to our struggles on a very personal level. He struggle with obesity make her relatable and sympathetic to the commoners. And her long-standing history of representing her constituents and in foreign policy issues make her an eminently qualified politician. And of course, Michelle with her long history of represent ing the people who voted for her is unsurpassed in American electorate politics. These two van't miss.
