Native Spanish Speaker

Hi there... I was wondering if someone, preferably a native Spanish speaker, might be willing to assist me with translating a few conversational sentences into Spanish for one of my stories. Spanish doesn't dominate the story but it it somewhat pivotal to the story line.

Since the extent of my knowledge ended with courses I needed to graduate... And as helpful as the 'search engine' translate feature is, I have no idea if I'm turning the Spanish phrases in my current story properly.

ie. The sentences will appear in my story as such: (“Tu casa es muy hermosa.” —Your house is very beautiful.) and then continue in English.

I'm able to mutter out the few sentence and phases that I've come up with a limited air of fluency— as I try to imagine a native Spanish speaker saying them, however, I would rather my bumbling not disturb the flow of the story.

If anyone is willing to help it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Just a warning from my experience. My dad is Irish and a printer. My mom is Cuban.

Dad got a contract to print a bilingual flyer for an event. The English side was fine. Dad asked mom to check the Spanish side. Mom made some corrections and dad went with her version.

When the client got the flyer he refused to pay. In his version of Spanish (I forget the nationality) one of the words my mom used was taboo or insulting or something. In Cuban it was a common word for some kind of food or a game.

I don't remember details, I was a kid. But it cost my dad all his business in the Hispanic community.

1 this happened in 197X
2 Yes he printed the order and the client refused to pay.
3 I asked my dad and he said the word was banana. My mom used a Spanish word that in Cuba was fine, but in the other culture meant Dick or Gay (not gay but the other impolite word, the one that Brits use for cigs...) The useage was supposed to be Crazy fun etc...
4 It was a matter of different slang. Like Lift vs Elevator or Dingo vs Stray

Try Google translate. Additionally, as has been mentioned, determine what country the story is in or what country the Spanish speaking person is from, then look for help from people who are from that country.
