Woke Folks - Please Tell Me Why She’s Wrong

The trouble with the video and the black lives matter movement is that it assumes that being black overrides anything else you are or might achieve.

Being black, even in the US, is not a monolithic group that is going to react the same way to everything.

Black people, like all people, can think and decide for themselves, not just because some politician says they should be ... whatever.

Plenty of black people don't buy in to BLM, and even support Trump, and watching white liberals "whitesplaining" to them why they're wrong is just nauseating.

How does saying black lives matter preclude other lives from mattering?

Is this like the argument against gay marriage that if gays are allowed to marry that it will somehow ruin "straight" marriages?

The hashtag that is being pushed by Russian Twitter bots???

The too good to be "woke" young woman in the video is a model/actress just like the "founder" of the hashtag, Brandon Strakas.

To be honest, she isn't even a very good actress, because her performance in the video was void of genuine emotion. It was almost like she was reading from a script. The endless and obvious interruptions in the video means that she must have been constantly messing up her lines. Not a good quality for an aspiring actress.

The only part I almost believed was that she might have been a crack baby, because her comments about black people coming to America on "African ships" was a clear sign of some kind of mental defect. Her complete absolution of white people for the current challenges black people face is something only an ignorant person, a paid shill, or someone sufferimg from historical amnesia would be capable of uttering.

She WAS very attractive, and her hair and make-up were on point, especially the fake eyelashes, so she may get a few call ups for gigs based on the video.

HOWEVER....... She wasn't very convincing, and the video only served to solidify my support for Biden and the Democrats.
