Trump To Defend 2nd Amendment Rights In St. Louis

You should avail yourself of more credible sources instead of the Communist propaganda of BLM associated media. They broke into a private gated community.

Comerade Vettebigot was too scared to shoot at the Vietcong back in the day, but he's not afraid to "shoot the messenger" online now!

Take away all the guns...

To make us all safe wouldn't it be better to take all the guns away from everyone including the police? Then just the military has all the guns and that keeps crime way down. They do that in wonderful countries like North Korea. It makes a thinking person wonder why the founding fathers thought that letting people own guns was a good idea. Wouldn't the world be a better place if there was one giant government that controlled everything and kept us all safe and feed? Why should people be allowed to make any choices about what they own? Wouldn't it be better to just let the wise folks ruling over us tell us what we can own?

Ask the Uighurs in China if they think it's a good idea.

If they haven't been charged with anything then exactly what is Trump doing to protect 2A? I wasn't aware that whining like a toddler was defending anyone's rights.

This from Governor Parson:

“The president said he would do everything he could within his powers to help with this situation, that he would be taking action to do that. I’m thankful that he’s getting involved in the situation, I’m thankful that he’s going to stand up for people on their legal rights and we’re going to move forward in this state,”

I think that may take the form of a DOJ Civil Rights Division investigation into the denial of constitutional 2A amendment rights against the local DA. According to the State Attorney General and the Governor, the couple has not violated state law in any of the actions they took.

Perhaps he'll invite them to his next and hopefully final SOTU speech. They can sit fully armed next to Melania and Melania's son.

Oh, Trump doesn't like what he is seeing!!!

I'm shaking in my boots! Not!!!

He no power to do anything...who are you kidding.

'President doesn’t like what he’s seeing': Missouri governor says Trump might intervene in viral St. Louis couple's case

The governor of Missouri said President Trump may intervene in the case of a St. Louis couple who went viral for wielding their guns at protesters marching through their gated community in late June.

Mark and Patricia McCloskey gained national attention for standing outside their home on the evening of June 28 while Black Lives Matter protesters came through their neighborhood to demonstrate outside the St. Louis mayor's home. St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kimberly Gardner, a Democrat, said she was “alarmed” by the video of the McCloskeys brandishing their weapons, adding that her office was investigating the incident.

Republican Gov. Mike Parson said during a press conference Tuesday that Trump told him “he would do everything he could within his powers to help with this situation." He later said he was “thankful that [Trump's] going to stand up for people and their legal rights.”

“I think the president and the attorney general of the United States are going to take a look at it,” Parson said. “The president doesn’t like what he’s seeing and the way these people are being treated. I know the attorney general was represented on that phone call today, so I think you’ll see some sort of actions. I think they’re going to look into things.”

Trumps only concern is his poll numbers.

Looks like we're gonna see another strongly worded Executive Order!
Oh noe!

Probably see one coming from the Governor of Missouri in the form of a pardon if the Communist DA in St Louis decides to engage in a deprivation of rights under color of law conspiracy against the McCloskey's.

Nothin' in the world like ruling Murica by executive fiat by governors and presidents. Looks like we're well on our way of doin' away with Congress and that pesky Constitution!

"He who has teh guns makes teh rules" right Gunny Shitpants?

You should complain to your governor about how you don't think he should be doing things by executive fiat. You know, something ... something ... mask mandates ... something ... something.

Nothin' in the World more despicable than a malicious political prosecution by a politically driven hack posing as a District Attorney. The homeowners in question broke no law according to the Governor and the state Attorney General.

I honestly feel a bit sorry for Governor Greg Abbott...he's had a rough month. After swearing on his childrens' lives that masks made no difference, he had to turn on a dime and issue a proclamation to "just wear the damned mask".

He's got public opinion for wearing masks on the left of him and shitsqueaks like Lt. Governor Dan Patrick and congressman Popeye Crenshaw calling mask-wearers "sissies".

I can see, though, why Gunny Shitpants has such a man-crush on the Missouri governor...did you hear him today?

Governor of Missouri Mike Parsons said:
“These kids have got to get back to school.... And if they do get COVID-19, which they will — and they will when they go to school — they’re not going to the hospitals.... They’re going to go home and they’re going to get over it.”

That guy is on track to kill more pre-teens than Ishmael.

But didn't you JUST SAY that those kinds of proclamations are "despicable"?

Yet here you are supporting executive fiat mask mandates.

How is it that you cannot see how 2-faced you are?

It's not two-faced at all.

I do have a special new degree of contempt for Georgia governor Kemp, though.

He said "Masks are kewl, but voluntary".
The Negress mayor of Atlanta said "you have to wear masks within the city limits".
The governor, recognizing that the majority of the citizens of Atlanta just happened to be Negros, filed a lawsuit saying only HE had the authority to rule by executive fiat.

The Governors position is, the Mayor lacks legal authority to declare the mandate. His duty is to protect the Constitution and the laws of his state.

Bullshit.

You're against governor who rule by fiat when it comes to exec orders. Remember these words of yours?

Nothin' in the world like ruling Murica by executive fiat by governors and presidents. Looks like we're well on our way of doin' away with Congress and that pesky Constitution!

Yet here you are ADVOCATING that exec fiat is ok as long as it's something you agree with.

It's like you cannot see how fucked up you are when it comes to politics (especially ANY politics involving Trump) so you blame everyone else while you waffle and dodge when called on it. Worse, you ignore facts in order to try and hide behind a quickly fading smokescreen of lies and fantasy.

You don’t understand the constitution at all. The second amendment is a preface to article 1 section 8 clause 15 and 16

I don't think the 2nd Amendment is currently under any kind of assault. At least not right now. It's on the Leftist agenda. That will never change.

Fact: There was just a "record" for guns sold in the US. Many first time gun buyers.

The St. Louis couple do not represent all gun owners nor does this specific case represent the status of gun ownership in the country.
