Request for input from Tamil reader

I have a story in progress (only about half completed) that includes a few Tamil terms, but more importantly, some Tamil cultural references. I'm posting this request early since I'm not sure how easy this request will be to fill, despite the large Indian readership on Lit.

The story takes place in modern-day India and Sri Lanka. The Indian state is not named, but it's based on Tamil Nadu. The Sri Lankan location is one of the northern provinces. It'll be near Jaffna if I use a real city's name. I am hoping that someone can check the following

• Correct use of Tamil honorifics
• Accuracy of limited architectural descriptions of traditional buildings typical of Tamil Nadu
• Accuracy of a very cursory history (a few sentences) of the ban on temple dancing and how the erotic gestures were eliminated from Sadhiraattam when it was resurrected as Bharatanatyam in the 30s
• Whether temple dancing is still banned (I saw something from 2018 suggesting the ban might be lifted)
• Whether a brief reference to the Sri Lankan civil war has been handled with sensitivity toward both sides

The elements described above are important setting elements, but they are not the backbone of the story. I'm not sure in which category I will submit the finished story, but I'm leaning towards Fantasy/SciFi. It's a story about a very pleasant personification of death who appears to guide a researcher's age-related end. Despite death being the end, the story is erotic and isn't really about death.
It is definitely not horror, and there are no squick factors that I would expect might bother anyone. I'm not finished with the story, but I expect it will be around 15k words.

If necessary, I will try the "Other Languages" forum when the story is complete, but since I can't read the script used in the thread that I suspect is for one or more Indian languages, I won't know for sure whether I'm even posting in the right place.

Pretty sure I've read at least one English-language story here that prominently featured Tamil characters and culture. I don't recall names, but you could try searching the submissions and see if there are any authors in there who are able to help.

That was a fantastic idea. I ran the search and got 275 hits, including some specifically set in Tamil Nadu and several set in Sri Lanka. There's even one referencing the Tamil Tigers during the Sri Lankan civil war. Thank you! That was incredibly helpful.
