Hey people,

I haven’t written on here in a while, but have always been writing stories for myself, figuring out my style a bit more. (Definitely Futa/Monster Girl).

The way it is, the longer you have a like a theme that interests you, specifically in the erotic genre, at one point you’ve seen and read everything, and start exploring other, weirder stuff. Basically a rabbit hole straying away from vanilla.

So I got these pretty f*cking weird stories that on one hand I’d like to share, but on the other hand I don’t think people will like at all. They’d be for a very select and few people. But, my storytelling has improved by leaps and bounds since the stories I posted here the first time. That’s basically what I want to share, so yeah.

Opinions?

Thanks in advance yall

If you're not sure how your work will be received, all you can possibly do is post your work and see how the people receive it.

Anything else is just speculation.

I’m a little unclear on what, exactly, you want opinions. So, forgive me if this isn’t helpful.

If you’re asking if you should post your weird, niche stories, I would suggest you do. Be ready for some bad ratings, but if it is way out there, most of those people probably aren’t your audience. I have read some very well written stories rated 2.5 and some so really weak ones that are in the high fours. If you’re proud of it, and it doesn’t break the rules, then show it off. If people love it or hate it then you produced art that made people feel something.

You can always put a warning at the start of the story. Some readers actually read them...

There are some very highly rated stories on this site that are just bizarre, including in the Monster Girl category. I know futanari was quite the fad for a while, and as far as I know, still going strong. Monster girls are not even close to my thing, and I've read a couple with absolute fascination. They were so interesting and well-written that I kept reading faster and faster because I wanted to see what happened. A good story is a good story.

I doubt there is any kind of weirdness that isn't on this site already and appreciated by somebody. If you can invent something stranger than the stuff that's already here, you should be proud of your imagination. As long as you're posting in the right category, I doubt you'll be dinged just because it's weird. If you manage to combine weird with offensive or disturbing, you might run into score problems, but if you post in sci-fi/fantasy, people are prepared for the shockingly strange.

The number of tentacle monsters alone on this site could probably constitute an intergalactic army. There are human-spider hybrids, human-mantis hybrids, human-scorpion hybrids, touchy-feely ghosts, enough werewolves to populate a galaxy and enough vampires to populate the galaxy next door, panther weres, bear weres, dragons, demons, centaurs, shape shifters, skin walkers, elementals, ancient gods, inter-dimensional beings, aliens of every description, orcs, trolls, goblins, and even tax auditors.

So go ahead. Try to shock Lit. I dare ya.

You could submit the "weirder than usual" stories in different account name and see how they fly before associating them with your main account.

The number of times I've thought, "We really have exhausted the number of futa stories now."
The number of times I've felt guilty over the thought that I'm normalising weird sex.

There are plenty of readers here for weird fucking sex. Want to get kidnapped and fucked by insects? Want to be trapped in a cave system where abominable creatures impregnate you? Want to be kept as a sex slave on an alien planet, or turned into a human cow to be milked forever more? Want to be transformed into a plastic blow-up sex doll? - or a bimbo, which is much the same... There are so many of these stories on Literotica.

The trick, always, is to make it erotic.

I endorse this message.

I have a hard time believing "Monster Girls" is a thing, but it is. Whatever. And futanari -- I mean, WTF? -- but AwkwardMD writes those stories, and she's no slouch. So, yes, there's no limit to what stirs the imagination and the loins. Let whatever stirs you stir your drink.

Go ahead and be insecure. But write anyway. Just write it, publish it, and see what happens.

As someone new to Lit, the advice in this thread encourages me.

One thing I've struggled with is Lit's 18-minimum rule. So much about a character's personality is revealed by their earliest experiments and experiences with sexual situations. Who didn't play doctor when they were five? Or, consider how implausible it would be for a First Time masturbation story to happen with an 18yo. Cmon. We all milked the lizard when we were twelve.

This relates to the current thread only in my insecurity about even trying to submit this kind of material after reading the FAQ. So I'll save it until I've established myself, or post it to a more relaxed forum, or I'll take the advice above and submit it under a new account.

To the OP: Show us what you've got. I'm looking forward to being shocked.

I don't think you need to be insecure. If you're material is about underage characters in sexual situations then you can be confident that it won't be published here. It doesn't make a difference what account you use, or whether you're a well-known author.

The site does not deny that sexual behavior begins before eighteen. You can write stories in which early sexual experiences are an important part of a character's background, but you can't write about those early sexual experiences. You can infer that they happened, but you are treading a fine line when you do.

I'm still new at this writing thing. I originally began the process as a cathartic autobiography of my struggle with social expectations and the development of my sexuality, but I quickly ran up against the 18+ age restriction. I completely understand Lit's need to avoid underage sex and kink and how in a broad sense, putting it out there can encourage or validate such behavior. Unfortunately a tremendous amount of real world formative events happen before legal age.

A counselor suggested journaling. What is 'the right thing' to do with this stuff? I would love to put it out there where others can share insights and experiences in an anonymous way. Is there such a place? Should I just print it out and burn it in a campfire to release all of that childhood trauma?

I ended up going through and removing all underage sexual content. It was tough, but I ended up fictionalizing my story, creating a 'what-if' alternate universe. It's still me and it contains a tremendous amount of material gleaned from events throughout my life. The protagonist is just a more fun fantasy version of myself. I'm guessing that the real story would not have been received as well anyway.

Is the desire to share my own story a legitimate part of my healing process or is it just another questionably fringe fetish?

-again, I fully understand the need for the age restrictions here on Lit and I have great respect for the site ficilitator.

No one at Literotica can tell you what is the right way for you to heal yourself. That's a complicated question that, to be answered honestly and competently, requires a detailed and accurate understanding of you and what you've been through.

What we can give advice about is what's appropriate as far as Literotica is concerned. On this point, as long as you comply with Literotica's content restrictions you should feel free to publish whatever you want here, for any purpose that matters to you.

Thanks, everyone, for the thoughts and feedback on this topic.

This was especially valuable. Thanks, NotWise.

It's a cool idea for a story, I think.

I can see a few scenarios that might explain why someone never masturbated until after 18:

1) Being raised by religious zealot parents who preached that it was evil:

2) Crazy parents secretly feeding child with a drug that suppressed desire

3) Having some kind of medical condition that suppressed any interest in masturbation until after adulthood.

There's probably some element of the fantastic in all of these, but it still could be done cleverly, I think.

Probably the first plot is the most plausible. I haven't researched this, but I suspect that it was quite common in the 19th Century. Kids would get their hands tied at night or get birched if they were caught. Maybe the plot could be that the parents were doing those things to him. But then you would probably be breaking the under-18 rule if you used too much detail.

As late as 1965, the Boy Scout handbook recommended against doing it. They called it "causing emissions." They said it didn't cause physical problems, but might cause "worry."

At thirteen I actually tried to stop for about three days based on this advice. Then I thought, "This is nonsense. The main worry I have is how long it will take before I can get with a girl."

Lies. This is Lit. You had no thoughts of sex before your eighteenth birthday.

It's a fairly simple plot. I was raised in a very religious household, and when I hit puberty my folks sent me to take a class about it at church. It preached abstinence and repression, with a heaping helping of guilt. Don't get me wrong; I did plenty of masturbating, but I did feel guilty about it. And I wasn't really much of a Jesus kid.

I have no doubt the more religious-minded kids in the class with me probably abstained, more or less successfully, from masturbating unto a ripe old age.

ecorche: do you think you're going to do this masturbation story? Because I think I'd like to take a crack at it myself. You and Voboy have given me some inspiration.

The key to passing muster is that it will have to be almost entirely about what happens to him after he turns eighteen. It can't be explicit about what happened before. But I definitely am getting some ideas.

I'll even give you a credit: based on a concept by . . . I'm fine with that. But if you want to keep it for yourself, I'll understand.

That's got to be a first - giving a shout out to someone who's suggested an "all teenage boys are wankers" story! :)

I suggested that it may been more common in the past. There must be some books about sexuality in the Victorian/Edwardian eras. I know there were attempts to suppress masturbation in both genders, but I don't know how widespread or successful these were.

Wait, I think I just did this one!

Don’t know about the plausibility or cleverness, though. It was just fun to write.

And it wasn’t a teenage boy but a married woman of...don’t remember anymore, 25 or something. Still, kinda prissy holier-than-thou type of person. Don’t think if it’s physically possible for a teenager to have sufficiently low sex drive to not ever masturbate. I also didn’t state she never did, I thought it was more some type of denial situation. Trying to be holier than yourself.
