I wasnt sure whether or not I should comment on your thread considering our mailing interactions and how all that didnt really work out in the end. But I just wanted to say a couple of things...

oh don't even get me started. though this isn't really a tourist area, but actually based on comments, the country, and even people in Germany are digging it. I am still pissed. No one new or cared about bumblefuck. Our only protest that made the news was organized by a bubbly 21 year old chick, her white soccer mom former teacher, had maybe 50 people smiling and waiving while walking down the sidewalk, in the burbs, and I swear there was actually skipping. If this instills fear in someone, that someone has a problem. My chickens are more intimidating. Yes, there are people here spouting off about blm and antifa coming to attack, and those people also spend their time spouting off about how wearing masks would kill them because breathing in recycled air, and 5G is going to be used to spy on them and fry their brain if they step out of line. Insulting specifically blm religious beliefs or lack there of, was inflammatory. Also, anyone who knows where we are, also knows the political beliefs here, the gun culture, as well as like all of Florida, Castle Doctrine and No Duty to Retreat. They also know once you pass the burbs into the hills have eyes, trucks with gun racks and confederate flags and Bubba drinking his beer are not uncommon at all. Hell, I know a Redneck with a running tank. I do not think anyone who knows the area had any doubt a response to a perceived assault would be met with a high level of resistance by residents. So, yeah, the country only knows the closest city, which is in another county. The city residents sees little reason to come to our mostly rural farming county, so there was no point. I highly doubt his weird rant will change anything, but given it went viral, and some civil rights activists are pissed off, it does increase the odds of an isolated crazy extremist coming up against one of our isolated crazy extremists. Still very low, but it was nil before.
I could almost accept this if he was just out of touch and for some reason believed it would help somehow. But ok, you have been under criminal investigation for 14 months. June 29th there is talk that the criminal investigation will go to the states attorney on the morning of July 1st. June 30th 4pm, he releases a pre filmed pointless somewhat taunting video rant filmed prior. July 1st, 8am state's attorney receives the investigative report, but no one cares as everyone in just pounding their chest with a weird sense of pride. July 2nd, State's attorney requests an independent prosecutor and no one cares. Yeah, I didn't give a fuck about his affair. I thought he was shady as fuck but could be worse, my standards are real low. Now, given the timing, I see no way to interpret it other than he sold us out to distract from his moral character flaws. And worse, everyone seems thrilled that he sold us out, so unless he is prosecuted, he will be re-elected. There has been a lot of talk of sexual misconduct in the department the past 2 years. Last year they fired quite a few of them for something having to do with inmates, last month another because of lewd activity with a teen girls, the sheriff arrested his mistress and threatened his cops to not talk, plus there is still talk specifically about the Sheriff and shit like replacing middle aged office staff with young, pretty, not qualified women,paying them more, and giving cars to them and shit, but I don't think they have enough prosecute, and now selling us out will get him re-elected. And America seems to think he is the best thing since sliced bread.
Yeah, I am annoyed and lol, you got me started.
