3 strikes( Louisiana )and counting. The thing I love about the law is it is larger than the individual. Activist Judges are a fictional political phrase used by both parties to incit their basis.

I'm so glad these so called "conservative" judges stuck to the law.

I’m glad the court ruled in favor of protecting abortion access, and I think Trump is corrupt and incompetent, but I don’t understand how the ruling is a Trump failure.

but I don’t understand how the ruling is a Trump failure.

Everything around IT is a failure. IT has tried to stack the deck on the Judiciary with handpicked drones, only to have them rule against IT.

It's a Bush failure, he appointed Roberts.

Roberts merely re-affirmed the the exact same decision that SCOTUS had already given in the Texas case. He actually voted against the decision in the Texas case. In other words, he di what he was supposed to do and didn't throw out his integrity.

Reichguide understands neither precedent nor integrity.

Robert's sudden adherence to "stare decisis" in the matter of abortion will energize the Trump campaign and put the SCOTUS back on the ballot. Stare decisis cannot be the rule of all case going forward. Would Roberts have been an adherent of Stare decisis in the matter of Dred Scott, if it were before him?

He’s the Chief Justice and you’re a porn forum putz. At this point the Trump campaign can’t be revived with defibrillators.

Roberts has revived Trump's campaign issue of appointing the right kind of judges.

He's a Chief Justice who disgraces himself by inventing constitutional solutions out of whole cloth that support left wing agenda items.

Actually he’s revived the issue of appointing judges who respect precedent over judicial legislating.

That's the wrong kind. Judges need to be impartial and unbiased.

I think he means judges well on the right. They don't even have to have proper credentials, as Moscow Mitch is now showing.

Dred Scott was in 1857. The Texas abortion case was in 2016. The only difference between now and then was the replacement of Kennedy with Kavanaugh — who BTW lied when he said he would respect precedent regarding abortion. He said that to get Collins's vote to confirm; now she's up for reelection in a prochoice state having been exposed as a chump.

Epstein's Island strikes again.

Thousands of hours of video recordings of some of the most powerful people on Earth.

A certain US Supreme Court justice was a regular participant. Bet he had no idea the cameras were rolling!

Weird...Republicans care about abortion...but don't care about old people dying from a virus...so it really isn't about life is it?

Never was since they're all pro-death penalty too.

Oh, their interest in human life stops at birth. They don't wait around for someone to be old to stop caring about his/her welfare.

They don't want the Gubmint supporting the kid they forced to be born neither.

I'm so glad these so called "conservative" judges stuck to the law.

As their opinions have shown, the new justices are more moderate and centrist than they have been labelled. They were chosen by a centrist president.

The point is, if every justice thought like Roberts, Dred Scott would still be the law.

Well, that's stupid. The justices appointed under Trump have both only voted ultra conservative thus far. (Everyone else appointed to the bench in this administration is a judge, not a justice.) And Trump isn't a centrist president. He's a completely scattered president, with no coherent pattern other than perceived self-interest.

Boy, someone has you bamboozled. The same person who convinced you to slap a leaf of lettuce on your face? :D
