How to reconcile surprise (and danger, the other quality fire and wolves are noted for) with the languorous pose?

Just because in this captured moment you seem weak, maybe sleepy (arm shielding eyes), and vulnerable (nude, top parted), your curl of a smile and the left hand resting just above your mound suggest desire.

Would it be a mistake to overlook/underestimate the capacity for surprise and passion (perhaps dangerously passionate) in so supine a figure?

B&W seems to invite a search for contrasts. Despite the hummingbird (nice contrast to the dolorous mood) tattooed on your thigh, are you saying there's also a raptor sleeping inside? (To mix the flame/wolf metaphors).

Or is it just an erotic nude of a hot woman? It works either way.

If this is the first in a new series, JAF, I look forward to your next installments. Always a delight. Thanks for sharing.

Or mayhaps the lady is composing herself to better keep the beast and inferno in check. Let the beast pace inside it's cage and let the fire smolder; the time isn't right to surprise everyone, not yet.

This is the solo shot, though..it could loosely be considered part of the series due to it's white shirt.

I've just been scrolling through the various Forums and Threads on Lit and you might say I had "a Passing Interest" in yours ... so a few pages in and around and I have to say I'm thrilled, charmed and enamoured by your posts, your pics and your beauty!

Your body is delightful from all angles and although I would normally not be too enthused by your tattoos, I have to say that the artwork enhances your charms.

I will be calling back at regular intervals to peruse this thread and the hidden delights it contains!

Ah, well.. It's a good thing they're my tattoos then and not yours. . It was a tough choice between tattoos, therapy, or self harm; I went for the cheaper of the three options. Lol. And yes, I do have a bit of dark humor.

Not sure about a wolf JAF but, thanks to a specific splash of W in the B&W, when I look carefully at the picture there does indeed appear to be surprise captured in your eyes. It looks to the casual observer as if you were relaxing and then you heard or felt something and as you opened yours, glancing to the left rather than moving your head, someone snapped a picture. Someone that surprised you. To a fellow self-photographer it looks as if you were ensuring the image got captured.

Cause I'm a dum-dum and left this on the bottom of the last page...

Dum-dums aren't all day suckers but they do hit the spot (and they come in uncommon flavors). So being a dum-dum isn't a bad thing.

The heightened contrasts are terrific. The field of white dominant, the flogger slithering out of the shadow. Pale flesh, dark fishnets. Exposed woman, who's about to inflict. Erotic and menacing. Pleasure and pain.

And the irony: Art (a well-lit, cleverly composed B&W photo) makes starker distinctions than reality does. The pleasure is the pain, the Dom(me) takes cues from the sub, the dark and kinky desires are really just about having some sexy jollies.

Not to be presumptuous (who, me?), but you're probably well aware of all that, JAF. Although you're facing away, are you winking? Or are you allowing Mr. Sterne, that playful old manipulator of realities, to do it for you?

I'm a fan of B&W. Like old noir movies, the exaggerated either/or evokes a reality that can get lost within the full spectrum.
