Trump is the one that signaled to white supremacists in law enforcement that they could abuse people's civil rights without consequence. The cop who killed George Floyd clearly got the message. These protests were triggered by George Floyds killing; they've clearly been hijacked by looters, but without the cover provided by legitimate protesters, the looters would be exposed for what they are.

The cities/towns/suburbs I'm referring to are the ones where Trump won overwhelmingly. The protesters and looters should identify those places and focus their protests in those locales.

The right and Trump are loving what's happening at the moment.

The rioting and looting in progressive cities is alienating moderate democrats who want police to be held accountable for criminal acts, but not at the price of total anarchy.
