Hard to believe how little interest there is in the launch...

It is an attempt at changing the paradigm.

If nothing else, there is
the NASCAR angle.

The fuckers might blow up.
You never know.

 ;)

I'm busy over here watching my grass grow. Riveting stuff this time of year!!

You don't live where I do, because you can literally see it grow...

... it's depressing how quickly I go through mowers.

It's a cool thing....glad we are done with the shuttle. Such a bureaucratic Foo bar. The Russians always did it right and maybe we finally have some people who can actually build a good rocket.

I am an Elon Musk fanboy. He is one of the few trying to move humanity forward. However rich he gets he deserves it.

They'll take another shot at glory to day...

... such a small hole of opportunity.

I watched the attempt the other day and was disappointed that it was delayed.

If I have the time, then I'll try to watch it again today.

Conditions will be right in all ways. A couple of clouds may be all it takes. So be it.

Let the scientists and engineers do their work.

I'll tune in when I can around launch time, but I also am
project procrastinating and need to get it done
while my weather window is open...

:)

20.22 BST tonight. I'll watch. Never lost my wonder at it since I was a kid watching Apollo.

Everything Musky does is a subsidy dumpster. Without huge government checks he would still be in software, online banking, or pushing coffeemakers on a home shopping channel.

Hey!

Those pitch people are well-trained professionals
who serve a very useful purpose in keeping the economy moving...

:D

I have no personal interest in Elon Musk. When this launch happens, it will be the next step into commercial space flight. I'm not talking about space tourism either.

For us space dreamers, its an exciting Era to be alive.

The dude is overcompensating with his cock rocket, which, you know, is something most Republican males around here can relate to. :)

Last i saw it came off without a hitch.

The did lose telemetry on the first stage booster about a minute before it landed on the recovery platform "Yes I still Love You".

Other than that it was perfect. Sometime tomorrow am they'll dock with the space station.

I do think that we need another orbital platform up there. In the event of an emergency, the inhabitants of one can "escape" to the other. Without that, they're stuck with only 1 option if the platform breaks apart or burns - die. Because there's no way we can rescue them.

You must admit that those are some pretty impressive cock rockets that boy has though.
