Fox News poll: Biden opens up 8-point lead over Trump​

A new Fox News poll finds former Vice President Joe Biden leading President Trump
by 8 points nationally, with the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee opening up wide leads among independents and older voters who broke for Trump in 2016.

Trump and Biden were knotted at 42 percent in the same survey last month.

Biden leads by 17 points among voters aged 65 and older and by 13 points among independents.

The poll found a massive gender gap, with Biden leading by 20 points among women and Trump leading by 7 points among men.

Strange! Trump has crashed during the last month while he's been yapping about opening up the economy. Could it be people don't support that message? Keep it up! Forcing a reopening too soon and making no plans for containing the pandemic is a #LOSING strategy.

This has been commented on, but I'm not sure you can really comment on it enough. In 2016, essentially the older you were, the more likely you were to be for Trump. Most of the recent polls I've seen show him really struggling with geezers.

Who would have guessed that "it is your duty to die in order to save the stock market" might be a hard sell with that demographic?
