Blue State thugernors play politics as their states burn

Now that we know a lot more about the China virus (99 percent of those under 60 who get infected are going to survive, many won't even get sick), we also know it's pretty ridiculous for these Blue State governors to keep their businesses in a headlock.
Politics at its worst.
Or maybe it's just the jackboots of the state stomping the little guy into submission. That's what it looks like to me.
New York (starring Luca [put 'em in nursing homes and watch 'em die] Cuomo with a special mention for NYC Mayor Adolf de Blasio), New Jersey, Michigan, California, Oregon, Washington and New Mexico governors lead the parade of thugs disguised as leaders.
My own personal belief is that almost all the governors are too cautious. But shutting it down while waiting for a vaccine is not compassion. Not while domestic abuse, despair/depression, suicides and overdoses more that outpace the number of virus cases.
These governors are thugs in nicely tailored suits. They are putting political opportunity ahead of their constituents.
And it's not going to work.

The governors are afraid. They don't have a comprehensive plan, they have an outdated notebook. They have no money but they have slogans on how to spend it on nonessential programs that won't help them. And, worst of all, they don't have anyone in their cabinet or legislature to go to for worthwhile ideas and information.

They are swinging in the breeze, alone and losing their grip on the end of the slowly breaking branch located near the top of the Sequoia. And they don't know what to do about it.

Lifelong good time party-ers don't do well when the shit hits the fan.

As a side note. In New Mexico 54% of all positive cases and 62% of all deaths are in two counties, McKinley and San Juan. Those counties are the Navajo and Zuni reservations. The governors orders have NO effect on the reservations, zero, nada, zilch. In other words the governor has shut down the economy of the entire state in order to contain outbreaks in areas over which she has no authority at all.

There is a theory going around out there that this is going to translate into a Biden victory in Nov. And that under those circumstances Biden will crank up the presses and bail those states out. It's a theory. <shrug>
