Good morning my sweet perverts!!! I hope you're all well and healthy and not going too bananas during this time.

What's been the hardest part or this, whether you're staying home or not? What's been the most unexpected or wonderful thing you've discovered??

For me the worst is just feeling like I have nothing much to say. I work and I go home and while both of those places have a lot going on, it's nothing anyone wants to talk about.

The most unexpected thing has been how much easier some tasks were than I thought. There are things I'm embarrassed I put off because they were so simple once I got right down to it.

The most wonderful thing has been seeing my neighborhood really become a friendly, caring community.

ETA - the worst part is actually zero private time to masturbate... sorry these are the real tragedies...

There have been a few very difficult things to deal with. One of the absolute hardest is having multiple "Dates to be Arranged in the Future" funerals to attend, and not being able to be properly supportive in person.

Also the lack of medical assistance I have been able to get. For the last several weeks now I have had a near constant migraine. The best I can get is a shot of what ever flavor is for this ER, but no actual follow up to determine either why I have the Migraine, or Why it isn't actually going away. I was able to get into the sliding pay scale clinic recently, but the lack of insurance, and being furloughed means I can't do any of the follow up they want done. They need imaging done, but I can't get it scheduled, and even if I could, I don't have the money. The system is so over loaded, the best response I have gotten for Medicaid..."Due to the High Volume, we apologize for the delay in getting your application processed..." What's worse, in my eye, is that I currently live in an area that has been very lightly hit with cases over all. It isn't like I live in a major metropolitan area. But, to give you an example, my Roommate was rushed to the ER two weeks ago with severe gal bladder and pancreatitis, BUT, even with insurance, the powers that be, decided he could wait for a surgical slot to open up in one of the Outpatient Surgical centers instead of doing it right then and there. I get the idea they want to stop the spread, but, if you are going to insist on making everything "Outpatient" when it isn't Immediately Life Threatening, then, ramp up the Out Patient services so people aren't stuck having to come back to the ER every three gods damned days to get refills on pain meds!

The only unexpected and wonderful thing that has happened for me is the amount of video games I have been able to kick back and play <insert eyeroll here>
 
Thanks for sharing everyone! I'm proud of you for making it through this stalemate and staying kind. The bad things will get better or...at least be replaced with different bad things. :cattail:
