funny you should bring up eleanor. 3 of my siblings are big geneology(sp?) researchers, they even attend a yearly gathering that's held for everyone in our surname. anyway, they claim to have traced our line back to one of eleanor's daughters, i don't remember which one. she was probably married off to a farmer or something like that. but susan hairball wants to nominate me for the queeniest and i do have the pedigree...where's my damned crown?

I'm descended from Eleanor and Henry through an eventual (several generations later) disgraced nobleman whose youngest daughter married a yeoman farmer.

Edited for PS: So are several thousand living Brits.

On that list, it's a tie between Queen Elizabeth II and Victoria. But I also love Queen Nzinga because she was bold, a bit of a badass. She had an all male harem, too. Lol.

QE2 never thought she would be queen, her father was extremely shy and had a stammering and smoking problem. She saw the amount of stress that man went through during the war. She is a dutiful queen, through all the controversies remained strong with her head held up high and still kicking.

Victoria, woo, that queen was something else! She had a temper! She was so passionate and didn't give a flying fuck. Fun queen to study. Just about every modern day European royal came from her child army.
