I have sent editor requests to three different editors over the past month or so and have not yet received a reply. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or not, if if I just have bad luck picking editors, so I decided to just throw this out there and see if anyone was interested.
This is my first time writing for any type of public submission. I've thought about writing for many years as I've always been a very avid reader with a wide range of interests from old cowboy novels to science fiction, to erotica. I've decided to try and get my feet wet, so to speak, in this format and see what happens. I'm interested to see what advice I get and welcome it.
The story that I think it ready is a romance, best-friends turns lovers, type story. It's not terribly graphic as I wanted to tell a story and have relatable characters for my first go-round.
If anyone would be interested in taking a look, please let me know, or if there's a secret to getting the editor's portal to work, I'll take that too.
