Trump's Purpose: Expose All the Corruption in The System

One of the premises for justifying the act of not rocking the GOP boat
over the elevation of Trump, over the clown bus full of candidates was-

Trump's Purpose: Expose All the Corruption in The System

Where did this message originate from ?

This statement expects everyone to accept the view that America's Democracy
has become so corrupt, that it needs to be put in the trash bin, and replaced.

George W, Bush's supporters in the finance world trashed the system, and Obama was
sent in to clean up the mess. After much anxiety, belt-tightening, and loss, on the part
of The People, hope became reality.

The bailout was made bitter by the arrogance and greed that Wall Street could not conceal.

The Occupy Wall Street was a series of protests marches that began
on September 17, 2011, in Zuccotti Park, located in New York City's
Wall Street financial district, against economic inequality.

Our Democracy did not become over-burdened with coruption until Trump
invited it into the White House.

The gremlins shouted about The Swamp- But, all that was proved, it that
Trump removed every competent, educated, experienced expert in their
field, and replaced them with Trump loyalists.

Yes, our American Democracy has flaws in it- It allowed Trump to enter.

It seems that Ameica's Democracy does not have enough safe-guards in it,
to defend itself against an agent sent to destroy it.

The premise is that all would swear loyalty to American Democracy.
It would function, because the majority of people would obey the laws.

Trump loyalists took the pledge, but lied during the ceremony.
They enable and support Trump's defiance of the law.

They corrputed the vote, they corrupted the media, they let themselves
become corrupted.

Trump, himself, publicly proclaimed that he would accept the assistance
of another coutntry, to (steal) win another election.

American Democracy could have had another protector, in Hillary Clinton-
More years of peace, prosperity, and friendly relations with the international
alliance of democracies.

The vote did not protect American Democracy, as it should have-
The fathers of Democracy never expected the leaders of American Democracy
to all become traitors to it.

:(

Trump has exposed how it is possible to corrupt a system.

What are the Trump gremlins celebrating ?

They have no new system for The People, to replace American Democracy-
only possible White Evangelical Supremacy, and The Supremacy of Trillionaires.

Pantomimes are still part of UK life. The puppet shows of Mr. Punch and his wife Judy
may still display the tales of human folly.

Mystery plays, Morality plays, Passion plays, Miracle plays, Pageant wagon plays,
Mummers plays- Dumb-Show (non-speaking) or mime's plays, all served to nuture
Christianity, and reinforce the message of the cathedrals and churches- this is what
everyone is ordered to conform to- obedience to rulers, obedience to religion.

Propaganda, and brutality to enforce it. The reality of Feudalism.

Torture and death are the penalties for not conforming. 1,900 years later, we have a
self-appointed king of an American Democracy on television.

The majority of people that believe in American Democracy were relieved to read
that Presiderp Trump had given up on his daily television shows.

If Trump is taking part in a theatrical production, he has chosen his costume and character
for his performances.

Strangely, Trump is mimicking Queen Elizabeth. He has chosen to hide his authentic self.
He is old, but he chooses not to reveal that he is old, by altering his hair colour, eye colour,
skin colour. His body is ancient and deteriorated, he hides it with body-altering girdle.
He is shorter than expected, he wears altered footwear. His suits are too big for his body.
A clownish appearance that mocks the dignified, appearance conscious, educated and
elevated members of exclusive circles that would choose to reject and exclude him.

His over-long tie is iconic- yet it serves to conceals male genitals that are abnormal.

His face is does not present a pleasant or attractive appeance. He mugs for the camera,

He enjoyed the advantages of American wealth, for all of his life. Yet, he nurtures
rebellion against American Democracy that evolved to raise him to his position in
life. Graydon Carter named Trump as a "short-fingered vulgarian." Trump could
have modified his manners and habits, but he chose to indulge his sociopathic
tendencies. Not cultured, not sophisticated, unable to achieve academic excellence,
he was unable to become more than he was. He could have stayed in the world
that he made for himself, but he became entrapped. He chose the alternative world
of criminals and racists- "the crazies," to keep his name in the media and press.

He is part of a story that is being told- as well as playing his part in supporting the
belief in the existence an Alternative Universe for his supporters...

What is this story attempting to get us to believe ?

America Doesn't Work, And Hasn't For A Long Time

April 28, 2020

A week after the September 11th attacks in 2001, Vanity Fair editor in chief
Graydon Carter declared, “I think it’s the end of the age of irony.”

(At least it did until Chris Rock wondered on Saturday Night Live in 2014
about the Freedom Tower that replaced the World Trade Center: “
Who’s the corporate sponsor — Target?”)

So, perhaps it wasn’t the end of irony, but it was certainly a shock to the system,
one that transcended even the death toll of 2,996.

Until the post-post-War era of optimism and white prosperity, we could take comfort
in the belief that the government we created was on our side. Never mind Sinclair
Lewis, John Steinbeck, Arthur Miller, Woodie Guthrie and Paul Robeson, among
the demurrers, spitting in the wind.

Until the social ravaging that culminated in the financial collapse of 2008, we believed
that the government we created functioned. Joseph Heller and Stanley Kubrick,
Allen Ginsberg and Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Jon Stewart and his spawn in a new
generation, showed us how naïve we were. But their words pale in light of the
lessons of the pandemic.

Today, under a president who has briefly turned, from promoting racism and
xenophobia during an immigrant crisis, to urging price gouging and lethal
competition among states for essential equipment during a devastating public
health emergency, we’ve surrendered the last precious part of our identity:
that we are special, that we continue to be a model for other nations to emulate.

Who, when this grim chapter finally has come to an end, will look to us for anything,
most of all moral leadership?

No one needs to approve of Bidens alleged past crimes or even defend them when the current 'leader of the free world' has 23 allegations of sexual assault and 3 instances of litigation for rape of his ex wife amongst others.

calling Biden out for anything is going to be hard after the last 4 years. The goal posts have all moved, or even closed completely now, after Trump.

A better question would be what has Biden ever done wrong that Trump hasn't done bigglier and betterer

Trump was speaking directly to mega-farmers that sent campaign cash to him, when
he said that "It would all be worth it." Mega-farmers were all in with Trump, because
Trump was willing to destroy regulations and rules for them. Chemical runoff, forbidden
farming chemicals, pollution of any kind would no longer be a problem- Trump was
willing to turn a blind eye in return for their support for everything on his agenda.

Very wealthy farmers that thrived after given huge loans and free cash. The failures
of small family farms due to deprivation of any help, gave the mega-farms a chance
to buy up land for cheap. The banks gave money to farms that did not need it,
much like the trend of mega-corporations taking cash meant for small businesses, today.

The farms died yesterday, today mom & pop stores, small cafes, old traditional town
diners, small family restaurants, owner operated ice cream and coffee shops are closing
for good.

Most of the Paycheck Protection loans went to mega-corporations that did not need
the money. The little people lost their life's savings and investments, because the
banks cheated them out of their chance to survive. Because banks do cheat little people
for fun and profit. Getting caught is no big deal- pay a fine, and get a rebate, later.

Plus banks look out for themselves, first. Mega-corporations have great relationships
with banks- good for the bottom line.

Trump fails to remove safeguards on new loans - he fired the last guard.

The Small Business Administration on Wednesday will temporarily allow only the
smallest financial institutions to access the small business coronavirus relief program,
known as the Paycheck Protection Program.

The move to restrict access comes after concerns that the smallest of businesses,
and particularly those owned by people of color, were shut out of the first round
of the program, which ran out of money in 13 days.

President Trump’s bailout package for farmers hit by his trade war with China
has overwhelmingly benefited the richest farmers.

The Department of Agriculture has doled out about $8.4 billion of last year’s farmer bailout
funds, with more than half going to the top 10 percent of aid recipients, according to a report
by the Environmental Working Group (EWG) published Tuesday.

Roughly 54 percent of the entire bailout has been directed to the top 10 percent of
farmers included in the package, including 82 farm proprietors who have received
more than $500,000 apiece from the aid program.

DeLine Farm Partnership of Charleston, Missouri, has received $2.8 million in relief payments.

I don't think anyone approves. It's just that it was being swept aside, it be can't anymore.

So it's now 23 vs.16?

Biden is in new territory now, it's going to be his goalposts to move. There is no one else to run once this plays out.

A better question would be is, who else do we have to try to be a leader of the free world?

China is already making their moves to see what happens. Going to get tricky soon.

Congressional investigators in Washington are demanding information about loans
and other funds that the Trump Organization has requested from foreign governments
including Britain, in the wake of the coronavirus crisis.

The demand for information follows a media report last month that said the Trump
Organization was seeking UK and Irish bailout funds to cover wages of employees
who had been furloughed from the company’s golf properties in Europe due to the
pandemic.

The US Congress has already passed legislation prohibiting US taxpayer funds
from being used to benefit companies in which Donald Trump holds a stake.

Bloomberg News reported in April that the Trump Organization was seeking the
bailout money to help pay for bartenders, bagpipers, and other employees who
have been furloughed. Trump, who still retains a personal stake in the company,
owns three golf resorts in the UK and Ireland.

Farmers’ hopes for respite from Trump-era struggles fade amid pandemic

May 11, 2020

- David J. Lynch,
- Annie Gowen
- Laura Reiley

President Trump promised this year to deliver a financial bonanza for American farmers
boosted by two historic trade deals that would free them from their dependence on
government bailouts.

It was a triumphant president who strode onstage at the Austin Convention Center
on a Sunday evening in January. Addressing an annual gathering of American farmers,
he boasted about a pair of historic trade deals that would unleash a surge of lucrative
orders for their soybeans, wheat and corn.

“I’ve told everybody: ‘You got to buy a lot of land, and you’ve got to get much
bigger tractors right now,” Trump said. “The best days for America and the best
days for America’s farmers and ranchers are yet to come.”

https://www.washingtonpost.com/busi...spite-trump-era-struggles-fade-amid-pandemic/

Trump's audience for hate rallies are in farm country- He lied to the fatmers.

Trump has earned a notorious reputation for not listening to his experts and scientists-
One would be led to suspect that Trump purposely blocks out unwanted information
from entering his consciousness- Because he can tell lies more efficiently if he blocks
information with the equivalent of "la la la, I can't hear you,"during every private
government briefing. It can be counted on that Trump will lie about that, too.
"I misunderstood. I was mis-informed, I do not recall hearing that."
"Someone gave me the wrong information."
"I listened to the wrong people."
The outright lie- "I was not told."

Where is the US Agriculture Department, during the coronavirus crisis ?

USDA

Depends on who you are, if you are a farmer looking for help- Trump has corrupted
every system. If you are a Mega Food manufacturer, and a friend of Sonny Perdue's,
there is a good chance that the banks will loan you the money that you do not need.

Trump hires campaign workers instead of farm experts at USDA

09/21/2017

Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, D-CT.

In her letter to Perdue, the Congresswoman urged USDA to utilize
“the full weight of the federal government” on the availability of food.

“In recent weeks, the challenges facing our food system have garnered national
attention. Images and videos continue to surface of dairy farmers dumping millions
of gallons of milk, farmers plowing over fields of fresh produce, and greenhouses
throwing away spring flowers,” DeLauro wrote. “These actions are undoubtedly
heartbreaking for farm families who have seen their markets eliminated. But at the
same time, their juxtaposition to the shortages and long lines at food banks has
caused confusion and frustration among many Americans.”

She said the $19 billion in direct payments to farmers under the Coronavirus Food
Assistance Program (CFAP) is going to fall “woefully short in meeting the needs
of farmers as well as the growing number of people facing hunger and food insecurity.”

Instead, she called for using “the historical approach” of direct farm payments and
bulk food purchases to stabilize farm income and market prices.

Her plan calls for an “Ad Hoc Public-Private Partnership with Members of the
Food Processing and Distribution Sectors to Expedite Diversion of Surplus Foods”

Trumpski, Barrski, McConnellski and Flynnski

Vladimir Putin calls the tune and all his Russian agents dance. Congress, the television Networks, CIA/NSA/FBI cannot all be wrong. President Trump IS a Russian agent.

There’s probably a very good reason why the original unmasking doesn’t show up on
this list, which reflects only NSA products and only finished intelligence reports.
According to Jim Comey’s testimony, the FBI found the Kislyak-Flynn calls,
not the NSA.

"And so the last couple days of December and the first couple days of January, all the
Intelligence Community was trying to figure out, so what is going on here? Why is this —
why have the Russians reacted the way they did, which confused us? And so we were
all tasked to find out, do you have anything [redacted] that might reflect on this? That
turned up these calls at the end of December, beginning of January. And then I briefed
it to the Director of National Intelligence, and Director Clapper asked me for copies
[redacted], which I shared with him.

That’s consistent with Mary McCord’s testimony, which made it clear no one had
to refer this transcript to the FBI, because it was the FBI’s.

https://www.emptywheel.net/2020/05/...-transition-just-one-led-to-criminal-charges/

Sally Yates, who served as acting attorney general at the beginning of the Trump presidency
previously warned in congressional testimony that Flynn could be subject to blackmail from
the Russians as a result of his conversations with Kislyak. It was Yates who expressed those
concerns privately to then White House Counsel Don McGahn, leading to Flynn's firing.

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/05/13/republican-senators-michael-flynn-254726

The list includes officials “who may have received Lt. Gen Flynn’s identity in response to
a request processed between 8 November 2016 and 31 January 2017 to unmask an identity
that had been generically referred to in an NSA foreign intelligence report,” according to
the document, which also notes that each person was “an authorized recipient” and that
the unmasking was approved through the agency’s normal process.

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/05/13/republican-senators-michael-flynn-254726

Ah, so here’s the truth:

People in the Obama administration used a normal process as authorized personnel
to access information about an ongoing counterintelligence operation that has already
been widely discussed. What a scoop!

But it’s even more of a dud than this suggests because the report also said that the list noted:
“While the principals are identified below, we cannot confirm they saw the unmasked
information.”

The story is that Trump and his allies are trying to cook up a bogus scandal based
around the normal and uncontroversial operations of the government.

Even in Attorney General Bill Barr’s twisted and misleading account of what happened
to Michael Flynn, there’s no indication in any of this that any of that the “unmasking”
was wrong.

Wall Street Journal reporter Rebecca Balhaus noted: “Unmasking U.S. identities in
intel reports is a fairly routine process that occurs thousands of times a year and is
requested by senior administration officials to better understand the context of
intercepted conversations that are being reviewed.”

It’s odd and disconcerting for the DOJ (...) to cast aspersions on people who will likely
never be charged with crime.

“Under this Administration, inspectors general have encountered unprecedented
hindrance to their oversight efforts,” Meadows said in 2014 while pitching a bill
to empower them.

Mark Meadows became White House chief of staff seven weeks ago. President Trump
has controversially replaced five inspectors general. Three of the removals carry readily
apparent retaliatory motivations, while the other two had been named to a committee
tasked with oversight of the coronavirus response.

Trump has removed three inspectors in apparent retaliation:

* Acting Health and Human Services Department inspector general Christi Grimm

* State Department IG Steve A. Linick had issued a report critical of State Department officials

* The now-ousted intelligence community inspector general, Michael Atkinson

Pompeo wanted Steve Linick gone, so Trump got rid of him.

Pompeo contradicted himself and undercut his denial-

Pompeo tried to rebut allegations that he was interfering in investigations that related to him.

“There are claims that this was for retaliation, for some investigation that the inspector
general’s office was engaged in,” he said. “It’s patently false. I have no sense of what
investigations were taking place inside the inspector general’s office. Couldn’t possibly
have retaliated for all the things — I’ve seen the various stories that someone was walking
my dog to sell arms to my dry cleaner. I mean, it’s all just crazy! It’s all crazy stuff! So I
didn’t have access to that information, so I couldn’t possibly have retaliated. It would
have been impossible.”

“There’s one exception,” he said. “I was asked a series of questions in writing.
I responded to those questions with respect to a particular investigation that was
some time earlier this year, best I can recall. I responded to those questions,
I don’t know the scope, I don’t know the nature of that investigation, other
than what I would have seen from the nature of the questions that I was
presented.”

Three House Committees committees demanded that President Donald Trump reinstate
a Department of Transportation (DOT) watchdog who was quietly removed from his
post over the weekend amid an investigation into Secretary Elaine Chao.

On Friday, Trump named Howard "Skip" Elliott, who already heads the department's
pipeline safety agency, as the new acting inspector general, replacing Mitch Behm,
the department's deputy inspector general, who had been filling the role.

Democrats said they were concerned that Behm was replaced "in an effort to undermine"
an investigation into "possible conflicts of interest" at the department, including allegations
that Elaine Chao "was giving preferential treatment to Kentucky," which is represented by
her husband, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Notice that Trump sidelined IG Mitch Behm (who has 17 years of experience with OIG)
was lost in the shuffle of outrage following the announcement that Trump planned to
fire the State Department IG, but potential conflicts of interest abound.

The previous DOT inspector general, Calvin L. Scovel III, retired in January after 13 years
in the job, following a prostate cancer diagnosis. His deputy, Mitch Behm, had been
serving as acting inspector general.

Friday, the White House said it was nominating Eric J. Soskin, a Justice Department
attorney, to serve as the Department of Transportation’s permanent inspector general.

Soskin is a career civil servant, currently serves as a senior trial counsel for the US
Department of Justice (DOJ)

Trump also pushed out Glenn Fine, chairman of the federal panel Congress created to
oversee his administration’s management of the government’s $2 trillion coronavirus
stimulus package.

Democrats made agreements, because they were assured that the stimulus money
would have a watchdog- then Trump got rid of the watchdog, after negotiations
were over.

In an election year, during a pandemic, will the sloppy unethical Secretary of State
face justice? Not with Trump firing every investigator! (FOUR in six weeks! FOUR!)

Nearly half of the Twitter accounts spreading messages on the social media platform
about the coronavirus pandemic are likely bots, researchers at Carnegie Mellon
University said Wednesday.

Researchers culled through more than 200 million tweets discussing the virus since
January and found that about 45% were sent by accounts that behave more like
computerized robots than humans.

Researchers identified more than 100 false narratives about COVID-19 that are
proliferating on Twitter by accounts controlled by bots.

President Trump spent another week feuding with a Democratic governor, this time
as Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer dealt with historic levels of rainfall which led
to the collapse of a pair of privately-owned dams in the state. Instead of momentarily
pausing his politics of petty revenge, Trump made matters worse, as is his wont.

The president diverted already strained resources for a campaign stop in Michigan
that doubled as a political stunt, advertising his personal refusal to wear a mask,
even in settings where everyone else is required to. Trump's antagonistic rhetoric
towards a state that is facing multiple life-or-death crises at the same time was
widely criticized. But what he did more quietly this week reveals just how
vulnerable his deregulatory actions have left America.

The owner of the breached dams, Lee Mueller, who heads a company called Boyce Hydro.
Lee Mueller, a Trump supporter who publicly backed the president against impeachment
in a Reuters article last year, didn't want to pay to repair them.

Like Trump, the owner of Boyce Hydro tried to blame environmental regulations
as the cause of his negligence.

Trump awarded the largest federal building contract of his entire term in office this week.
It was for his border wall.
