I am sad to report that our weespanner passed away in November.

I don't know any details other than she had suffered "a long illness".

weespanner was a warm, vibrant woman, funny as hell, a fierce wordsmith, and bubbling over with passion for her family and her footie club. She was a compassionate friend to me, albeit only online, but we all know how much one can care for our "only online" friends.

She was a breath of fresh air on these boards and will be sorely missed.

I will think of her sitting in a street cafe on a sunny day, sipping a chilled glass of wine, watching the world go by.... she told me once that this was one of her favorite things to do. And when I think of her, I will smile.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I had noticed her absence, but had no idea of her illness. I will miss her warmth and intelligence, and her wicked expertise in the Limerick threads.

That's such sad news. She was great fun, sharp, witty, hugely intelligent but not at all aloof. We had some lovely conversations. Her tumblr (which seems to have been deleted) was a wonderful collection of images, mostly black and white, and included some breathtakingly beautiful pictures of herself.

I hope she slipped easily away to her long sleep. She'll live long in the memory. And rightly so.

We were acquaintances on Tumblr long before I knew she posted here as well.
I enjoyed all her image curations and admired her wordsmithery.

I used to post with her in the Limerick threads a lot and in the photo threads. Like Numi said, she was all about the B&W photos. B&W only, and she had a great eye for artistically done photography too. Her Tumblr and Lit postings were never just any old porn shots, it had to be very sexy and very well done for her to post it.

Her personal photos always revealed a beautiful body and her well-manicured nails. She was considered by many to be one of Lit's sexiest women. We used to chat on occasion but never really hit it off, I'm sure that was my fault not hers.

What a shocker, this breaks my heart, we talked often for a long time,sadly I had to back away from Lit for a while and we lost contact. She loved life, her family, her boys were her world. She was a master of words.........

I’m so shocked to hear this.
I’ve not been on Lit much for some time, but used to have long chats with this lovely lady, on and off Lit until life got in the way.
