RoryN has been banned.

He bumped two old threads regarding the now ironic low unemployment predictions under Trump.

Apparently someone didn't like that.

RoryN has life skills. He'll be just fine. :)

Lit Deplorables, not so much... :(

He had a habit of doing it and was repeatedly warned about violating forum rules for doing it. His gloating that he was above being banned didn't help him any.

Not that it matters. His life revolves around Lit and he's already returned and created his newest Alt.

Gonna need some snowshoes to walk around with all these snowflakes falling in April. ;)

You deriding him there?

what inside info do you have that he is already back on here?

Ho hum, whatever floats your boat i suppose.

1. I didn't "deride" him into violating forum rules. He made a habit of it and continuously gloated about how he got away with it. I also didn't report him for it.

2. He's not the only one who makes a practice out of violating the rules and gloating. So far everyone who's done similar things has eventually gotten themselves banhammered. Live and learn. Or get hammered.

3. Water. It's makes up 70% +/- of the planet, it's wet, and is what boats usually float on.

Please try and keep up.

Oh so you are now a teacher and a weilder of the ban hammer? or again are you simply bigging yourself up?

*yawn*

You sound stressed. Almost like you need a cat to help you keep calm. You can have the multicolored Calico pictured in this thread:

Just pay shipping and reimburse the medical costs incurred in crating, handling, and transporting and she's all yours.

I didn't realize a 40 day old thread was considered too "old" to bump.

I wonder where Ish's "Sweden got it right on Covid-19!" nonsense, which I think is about 2 weeks old, falls into this category. I was thinking of updating it with little reminders that they seem to have a growing problem there, but I guess that might be a trigger for some of the easily triggered.

Maybe the rules need to be clarified. Thread bumping "with the intent of disrupting the forum" is against the rules (example: the old Karen Kraft approach of bumping 50 threads in order to get something "she" didn't like off the front page).

But how do you know if someone is bumping a thread with the intent to disrupt the forum, or if they're doing it just to call out some poster's bullshit? That's not "disrupting the forum;" that's literally the main thing we do on the GB. And what's being disrupted, other than maybe pushing "Tits Are Cool, Part 14" to the second page?

Anyway, people need to obey the rules, and in 18 years I've never seen anyone banned without fair warning or really good cause.
