I see this as a loss of responsibility of being knowledgeable enough to know whether someone else is doing things at least somewhat correct or not.
You may think someone else is responsible for everything but is it they who will suffer the consequences if they aren’t or is it you?

I actually dont really have any experience with this I just like pictures videos and talking about it. I couldn't commit to a lifestyle thing thoug. BDSM actually seems a little too complicated and over structured to me.


There are so many possibilities I don't know which to talk about.

And that's the crucial point isn't it? You need someone who knows you that well and knows your body and how you react, how fare can he push. Because what if you are not into safe words?

It’s good to have at least one set of safe words that two people know just in case of things that people weren’t expecting to happen. I have tried to get by without using them much because I have always thought I would try my best to read someone and try to get to know them. Unfortunately I have been proven wrong on that before when I have found things I hadn’t discovered before about them. I like what your saying but have found some people to change whether it was because of someone else or something they didn’t mention before but I like your way of thinking.
And in Edit I like to say it’s not always easy to know everything about a person and how they are going to react about something but it’s a good idea to learn as much as you can about them if possible.

I know what you mean and in principal and practice you are absolutely right.
I think I'm being idealistic and reaching for the moon, so to speak. I have that tendency. lol And that is why I haven't given myself 100 % to anybody in that way. Guess will never. It happens.

I guess I was taught like a Dungeon Monitor because I’ve always used or heard ones like Green, yellow or Red .. of course as a Dungeon Monitor we all needed to know what the general safe words were so we were able to help someone who needed it.
In private it wouldn’t matter what it was as long as it was something you would notice but the song is good. I mean I used to never know what a snowball was lol.
 
Someone posted somewhere that a good safeword would be "Meatloaf" because it would signal "I would do anything for love... but I won't do that."
