Children raised around dogs are found to have less incidence of ear infections because exposure builds immunity.

Is that why?

They tend to be relatively youthful.

Enclosed spaces increase airborne viral loads?

Sunshine?

Vitamins D and E?

It's possible that it just hasn't hit their population yet but early look at that says they are low risk.

Seems worth an in-depth look..

What's your evidence that it's not impacting the homeless?

Research indicates that substance abuse is more common among the homeless than with the general population. Drugs and alcohol: the cause of and solution to, all of life's problems. :)

Who says it it hasn't?

No one's looking at it because they generally dont have the same access to medical care

My work involves a fair deal of the homeless population and I've seen plenty of sweaty folks hacking thier lungs out

There are little to no left wing news organizations like MSDNC and CNN running tearful news stories about the virus running rampant on Skid Row claiming the lives of precious Americans but for being forced into the streets by the evil Donald Trump.

And that isn't the norm?

Aside from anecdaya, there 8s s good study out of Los Angelo's. I should have had that handy but it's just something that hit me long after I read the study, let me see if I can find it.

It's counter intuitive. They aren't walking around with him sanitizer so how are the avoiding it? Assuming it's true, of course.

Shelters are limiting their numbers, many public places like community centres are closed, clinics are shuttering too

And they arent restricted to skid row, many homeless will sleep in more affluent neighborhoods as to avoid violence.. that means it's in the burbs too

Just because you don't give a shit about people, doesnt mean it's not spreading

That’s the thing!
People don’t want to trudge through a camp of shit & piss and aromatic homeless people.
That includes people who are perfectly healthy, those who have the virus, and the ones that have it, and don’t know it.

So if the homeless aren't around it.....

You might have missed it but Al Gore took all the homeless into isolation in five of his six homes. Bernie Sanders pitched in two houses. And even Hollywood stars loaned out a few of their ranches in Wyoming.

How do you expect the homeless no be around it?

hey go to the same public spaces that people with homes do. They touch the same surfaces

L.A. Cops: We aren't going to enforce the law on Skid Row until the city cleans up the sanitary issues or provides protective equipment. That was before the China Virus hit town.;)

Your Google-for-confirmation-bias fu is weak.

None of those contradict what I said. Neither "horror!" "fear!" nor "exposure!" equals infection, much less death.

Bad babysitter doesn't know what she's talking about; homeless people in the United States have access to medical care as they certainly do in Canada with socialized medicine which is how you know she's making it up, as per usual. Theh would be flooding emergency rooms if they were "hacking up a lung" She claims to "work with the homeless" and doesn't have a phone to call EMS or at a minimum, the public health department?

Sure.
They all go shopping at Walmart.

Right, ad you've never seen a homeless person outside walmart, or at a park, or a mall, or a business, near a school, etc

I guess they dont touch anything and just levitate where you live
