Hello to one and all of you good, sexy people! New to these boards, but have been a faithful literotica fan for many years.

I’m a Kentucky guy who’s been living in southern Indiana for the past 27 years. My paying gig is as a second-shift Prepress Technician, but my true passions are graphic design, painting, writing, cooking and baking, ceramics and making women happy. I’m also a card-carrying sci-fi, comics and fantasy geek (any other WHOvians here?), a supporter of gun rights (I enjoy going to the range and letting off some steam), a huge fan of pretty much any music from the 60s to the 80s (with some modern music smiths tossed in for good measure) and a genuine, dyed-in-the-wool hopeless romantic.

I’ve been married, but not what I would call happily (it’s a looong story), for almost 28 years, but the experience is NOTHING like what I imagined married life to be like or what it should be. We’ve had good times and bad, but the bad times often outweigh the good and usually by a wide margin.

As a red-blooded male, I’m just as fond of sex as the next person, but I’ve not really had a lot of experience, at least not good experience, in that particular arena, even in my 56 years. I’ve had a whopping two physical partners over the course of my adult life, neither of whom has really done much to peak my sexual interests or show me the kind of mind-blowing sex other folks go on and on about.

Being the romantic that I am, and a writer to boot, I have spent many hours crafting erotic tales that I will eventually share with you guys after some careful identity changing and editing as many of the stories are based on virtual relationships I developed over the span of many years. One of these young ladies not only stole my heart for a spell, but also captivated me with her sexual openness and sense of adventure! I spent many pleasurable hours with her in sexy phone conversations and extremely high-charged sexting, both of which usually ended in wet, sticky happy circumstances.

A little more about me. 56-year old, white, hetero male (just the demographic that Hollywood is having fun vilifying these days). Gravity is catching up with me, so I have a bit of extra padding that I never used to have, but I’d label myself as “husky” rather than “fat” (not that there’s anything wrong with that; just more there to love). I’ve got a lovely astigmatism courtesy of my parents, God rest their souls, so spectacles are a necessity (most of the time). By choice, there are no shingles on the roof, but there is plenty of insulation on the bottom of my noggin, a good portion of that salt instead of pepper.

Guess I’ve told you guys all the pertinent facts about me there are (there are, in fact, more, less pertinent facts, but they’ll come in due time). I look forward to getting to know you all in the future. Al-lonsy!!!

OMFG ANOTHER PRINTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*dies of excitement*

And YES! I did need to use caps lock and exclamation points! So there :p

Few points:

1) Marriage sucks, I don't recommend it. If you can afford it, get a divorce. You'll be happier in the long run.

2) Ain't nothing wrong with being fat! I'm fat, you're fat, we're all fat!! *throws confetti* now shaddup and let's eat cake!

3) I like all your nerd fandoms, but guns are squicky! If you can keep them to yourself and like, never again mention them to me, we can be awesome friends!

If not, hey enjoy your lit time!

That's a very nice ad! I wish you well in your quest!:rose:

From your opening statement, I presume there must be a lot of people in the printing industry here? LOL! It can be a very isolating profession, especially when you work odd hours.

Marriage is, of course, the number one cause of divorce. 😉😜

I’m a fan of cake——and CAKE! 😊

Nerd fandom is the best fandom, but I remember when liking nerd stuff wasn’t cool. And I’ll never mention those-which-must-not-be-named to you, again. 😊

And divorce is the number one cause of HAPPINESS!

Cake cake cake cake cake cake!! need I say more? YES! Cake!

Thankie thankie! Let us discuss nerdstuffs at great lengths indeed! :rose:

I work at a print shop too. but I'm just the bitch who basically assembles books and all the projects.

So you’re the backbone of the whole operation! Those of us who do the designing and the folks who run the presses are important, but it’s the people who put it all together who are the most important.

I like all of my assembly projects except for when are big school orders come in. Then I have to assemble at least five hundred books. Hand coiling the biggest ones. Thankfully my machine does the smaller ones. I like the coloring books. Those are fun I color all the time so I get to steal any misprints. 😜 my favorite. Is always the fire department books. It's like reading all of their code and learning it as you assemble it.
Ehr ma gherd! Sassy! I never knew that! I am so very impressed with you :D :D :D

Haha glad I could impress you. 😉
It's fun. I will admit, I hate shrink wrapping stuff. Small stuff is fine. The large school stuff really sucks.

Having worked in the printing biz for 30 years, I’ve had the opportunity to do some bindery work, as well. I actually enjoyed shrink wrapping stuff except for the initial smell of burning plastic. One upside was I would take all of my old calendars and LPs and stuff into the shop and reshrink them and they were almost as good as new!

It just gets so damn hot when you are shrinking 250+ books and all their innards.

Hm... You can always judge a Whovian by their Doctor. Which is your favorite? Tennant?
I did enjoy Tenant’s run as The Doctor (and am looking forward to his brief return). I was also entertained by Matt Smith’s Doctor. But for nuWho, my favourite Doctor is Peter Capaldi by a wide margin; he brought EVERYTHING to the character that it needed! His final season, once he was able to jettison Clara, was a shining example of how great Doctor Who can truly be!
