We bought one about a month ago. Since I already had a cock ring that fit, I measured the inner diameter and ordered accordingly. My first one was made of plastic resin, it worked well. Unfortunately, I developed some serious chafing. I had to stop wearing it for a while. I've worn it a few times since, just a couple of days at a time. I switched to a metal cage on Saturday. Wore it for 104 hours straight. It was removed last night for cleaning and left off. We tried to have sex but apparently I never fully recovered from the chafing. The chafing you experienced isn't ideal, and you certainly don't want contact to break the skin and create the risk of infection, but a certain amount of discomfort, other than the intended discomfort to discourage an erection, is normal. It has to be tight enough so you can't slip out of it during your daily activities. My first chastity device was fine, except that it would slip off during the hinging poses during yoga class. Until I bought one that fit better, I had to wear long workout pants that were tight at the ankles, rather than shorts, so it wouldn't land on the wood floor mid-class.

There is also the matter of your own personal configuration and angles. We're all different. What I have found to be ideal for its purpose and my own personal fit is a Holy Trainer, v3. They'e made in Switzerland not of petroleum-based plastic, but rather of of bio-resin. The heat of your body gives it a little flexibility that you won't notice, but it will adjust slightly to your shape, something steel can't do. It also has a locking mechanism that creates very little bulge.

I'm including a picture of mine. As far as size goes, it's something of a guess. Yes, they're sized in mm and pecision made, but how do you measure yourself, expecially for the scrotum ring? I bought three before finding the right size: tight, but not too tight. It should be barely big enough for you to be able to pull only one ball at a time through it.

As far as the penis portion, I have an extremely small penis, perhaps the main reason she has caged me. The smallest size available in the v2 at the time was too big for me. My penis filled less than half of the tube, and it not only looked ridiculous that I could barely fill half of a small penis tube, but as a consequence, it didn't do enough to restrict my erections. Now, I'm wearing one two sizes smaller than "small". Mine is the new smallest and it's size is designated "nub." The interior length of the penis portion is under an inch long, and it fits my under-one-inch-long penis perfectly.

We have decided that for now, no long term wearing of a cage. Currently, I have the smallest of the 3 that we own on. I'm only wearing it for a couple of hours to test it out. At this point, I like the plastic resin version the best.

Not sure if your comment is directed at me but I will respond as if it is.

My wife is very much into which cage I wear. When we started looking at them online, she picked the one that we first bought. After we purchased the next 2, she picked the one to wear next. I put the 3rd on for a couple of hours today. I left it on until she came home to see it and she wasn't pleased. I took it off. She just asked which was the best, I said the first one, the plastic one. She agreed. The other 2 that I bought were cheap Chinese imports. I only bought them to try different styles. I know what the issues are. At some point, we will buy a much better one.

I am looking forward to trying one, but a bit nervous as when I get a hard on I don't have much control over it. I don’t know of a length to thickness conversion. And since the base ring fits more than just the shaft it’s kinda trial and error. Some come with multiple rings and you can buy extra rings.

You could go to an adult store and ask.

Hello, I am caged 24 /7 nine years long now. If you will go longer than a weekend some advices from my experience. Open daily for cleaning, on hot days may be twice. Use always a good babycreme after cleaning. Have two or three different cage types to change every two or three days. That prevents pressure points. Try cheap cock cages with different base rings. The base ring should fit tight, but when skin of balls become blue, it is too tight. Don't go too fast. It takes about six weeks, to wear a cock cage 24/7. Don't have fear that others may see it. Any tips for cages that don't make sound when walking so it's easier to wear? I mostly like my Mancage but with the lock on, it does make sound as I walk which could be noticeable.
