Kewl story bro.
But, for those of us not living inside your fantasies, what does the rising and faling sea level have to do with the DJIA?

Renaud's picture is next to 'NIMBY', when you look it up in the Funk & Wagnell's.
If it ain't grown.....it's mined.
And, if it's grown, it's done with equipment made from materials that were mined......just like everything else.
But.....I'm sure he thinks it's better, safer, and environmentally friendly, to mine cobalt (for the batteries in his laptop & power tools) with slave labor in the Congo.
Fuck those guys in Idaho working on a cobalt mine start up.
Or PGM's, primarily used for catalytic purifiers, so he can he can suck on the tailpipe of his Prius without his heart stopping..... Better to get that from THE RUSSIANS at Norilsk.
Fuck that PGM mine in Montana.
I could go on....but why bother......
Cute, but not remotely accurate. I'm fine with just about anything in my backyard with reasonable controls over it.
All the rest of your point is intentionally dense, you knew good and damn well I was primarily talking about coal. As for the Congo its a shame we do that but I have minimal control over that situation.
As for Russia vs Montana, I'd prefer Montana BUT I'm not going out of my way for either group.
Please do go on, show me how much more misinformation you can spew.
His name should be Shultzster bro.

Nope.
Not going to bother.
I gave you NO misinformation.
You simply don't like it, because it doesn't line up with your leftist green-dream ideology.
You didn't pay one speck of attention to what I said. Way over your head it seems.
You have absolutely no idea where your stuff comes from, and that's all your stuff.
Take away all your stuff, that is made with materials and things that are mined, and you will freeze and starve naked on the cold-cold ground.
But hey.....you know it all dontcha?
You gave nothing BUT misinformation though.
You claimed I was a NIMBY. I am not.
You claimed I didn't pay attention to what you said. I did, you however were intentionally vague.
You claimed it was the oldest profession when farming, herding, war, politics, fishing, logging all almost by definition predate mining. Probably construction too if we went and started looking into it.
I know where stuff comes from just fine. We go through this game every year with new players though. Usually its taxes and people bounce back and forth on "Oh the liquor tax went up, I thought no new taxes?" When everybody in the fucking room knew good and damn well we meant income taxes, then when we go broader it becomes oh, such and such was lowered.
Its okay, I get your part of Bots new cult. It would be annoying if I wasn't so accustomed to this bullshit.

Klinkster is a member of the oldest profession?
Sex work is work, bro!
Check your facts. Powder River Basin coal is (and has always been) low BTU stuff.

Peddle backwards faster.
Klunk and Derpy lie a lot.
It is a fact. Just because it came from the powder River Basin doesn't mean it's low btu. It was one of the highest btu coal out of the river basin. You dipshits can read all you want ABOUT coal fired plants and their fuel. I worked next to the power plant employees when coal was king. I also worked next to them when wind and solar became a cheaper and cheaper fuel. Forced to burn gas... What a joke. Those plants put billion dollar scrubbers to be able to burn coal when Obama EPA regulations took effect. They burned coal. Well into the Trump Era. That coal got cheaper until it reached its ultimate diminishing return, it could no longer compete with wind and solar. This isn't some article I've been reading, I worked through the changes. They only converted to burning gas because #1. It's fuking cheaper than coal. #2. It's easier on their aging boilers and injectors. #3. It's cheaper to retrofit from coal to gas for reason #1. Keep reading your biased articles, I know the truth. Plus, you think these giant power companies care what fuel they consume for the purpose of selling electricity? Whatever is the cheapest and has the least maintenance. You have no Idea the constant upkeep of a 800 to 1500 megawatt Unit. Wind is cheap and solar will get even cheaper. Coal isn't dead because of federal regulations, coal is dead because it's an out dated fuel source. Maybe tonight you can crank up your smokeless oil lamps and send a telegraph.
Your "insults" make little sense. Do better.
Sorry little boy. You are full of bullshit.
Who said "FUCK MINING' again?
(That was you)
You said 'I have minimal control over where stuff comes from?. (AKA....you don't give a fuck)
(That would be you)
Need more?
I made the statement, that my industry, is booming. It sure as fuck wasn't under Obama. We were on the endangered species list.
You argued the fact, that my industry is booming. That's wrong, and it's bullshit.....at best.
You are the dumb bastard, that said my industry, was not booming.
That means:
A: You are a NMMF
and....
B: You don't know what the fuck you are talking about.
Please separate yourself from everything you own that is mined.
Also separate yourself from anything else that you have that is there because of mining.
We will dispose of your thawed out carcass come spring, if the vultures don't do it first.
Yes, Fuck Mining doesn't have shit to do with my backyard.
Yes, I want to know when I was given control over the Earth's geology AND/OR where large businesses do their work.
So yes I need more.
I didn't argue that your business was booming, I was curious what it was that was doing so much better now than before since the stats don't bare it out.
So of course I don't know what I'm talking about, hense the asking of questions so that I will know what I'm talking about.
I'm not disposing shit, if your business was doing as poorly as you claim and there was no shortage of things I needed clearly we had enough or too many of you fuckers. So once more with feeling.
FUCK MINERS.
And stop pretending you didn't know I was talking about coal.
I haven't attacked anything you've said snowflake. But you've attacked me repeatedly. Didn't you claim things were bad long before Obama though? Again if you were an endangered species and my PC wasn't clearly we didn't need as many of you as we had/have and since prices haven't plummeted clearly you're not creating a glut. But carry on, its fun when the morons start getting rude.
Wrong again. And....Powder River is not the only coal on the planet.
The point is, coal DID NOT die on it's own. It was killed, starting with Obama. Would it have happened naturally, with directional drilling, fracking, and the elimination of redundant regulations? No doubt.
Northern Hemisphere Coal in Europe and America has been slowly dying for years, long long before Obama came along. There are one or two exceptions such as Colombia which has been able to put steaming coal into the US market for the past 30 years cheaper than any local producer. The locals have only survived with government support.
The real killers are from the South; Indonesia is the world's largest exporter of steaming coal and Australia is in a similar position with regard to high quality coking (steel making) coal. They are both producing a higher quality product from mines which are much cheaper to develop and run than Northern competition.
