Buttigieg exits presidential race ahead of Super Tuesday

Except: now people know who he is, so he'll have to actually accomplish something. His actual efforts will be examined. I don't know what that will be though, because he's neither qualified to be a Senator nor Governor.

If Barack Hussein Obama had to continue voting present in the Illinois legislature for a second bid at the Senate, he never would have been elected to the Senate, much less POTUS.

Obama was elected twice.

Obama was elected twice.

Your point is what? He didn't have to go back and perform after everyone was actually watching because he had already been elected to the Senate.

You don't read well, do you?

Unless you meant re-elected after a historically poor first term? Americans are never sure if it's ok to fire the "historic" guy, which is a different proposition than hiring him in the first place

Check grammar, use complete sentences, consult your Russian-English dictionary for correct syntax. Then, sober up and try to tell us WTF you’re actually trying to say.

Now mayor Pete can sit on the sofa with his husband on election night and watch Trump get re-elected 😎

He was, ironically, the most electable one of the bunch.

Eh, I doubt that. The inexperience issue would have come up (we'll leave aside the example of the current president), and while his sexual orientation wasn't really litigated in the context of a Democratic primary, a gay candidate wouldn't have to lose the support of very many typically Dem voters to become totally unelectable.

It was obvious he studied Bill Clinton and Obama a LOT, but that's a key reason he always struck me as vaguely inauthentic. And things have changed a lot since the '90s, including the Democratic Party — Buttigieg didn't always seem to get that.

The question of what he does next is interesting though, because his path to statewide office isn't great either. He tried once and it did not go well.

Obama was elected twice.

And it's worth remembering that waaaay back in 2005, AJ went on record as saying the racist Democrats would never EVER nominate Barack Obama becoz Dems would never support a colored man at the top of the ticket.

Hell as late as January 2006, AJ was on record as saying...
I don't have anything against Obama....
....but that's because he "knew" that Obama couldn't win and he loved using him as a wedge issue to divide Democrats.

LOL....The first post ever about Obama on the General Board was Feb 14, 2005 by LT. AJ responded the following day with this post that hasn't aged well at all!

That's gonna have to cause a showdown because other than Hillary, who do you have as a good, credible candidate? Obama looks promising, but he's pretty conservative too....

I read fine. You typed, "BLACK MAN BAD! TWICE! ME MAD! ME FAVORITE COLOR ORANGE!"

Bwhuahahahaha!

That was awesome. :D

I'm surprised that any of them bug out before Super Tuesday, which is just two days away. He's a good pick for governor and/or U.S. senator. He's only 39, so he has a good eight years to shore up a killer political resume. He did a great job in his campaign.

Racist Que just can't deal with a Negro POTUS. He's personally threatened.

Do Obama's accomplishments make you feel like a loser?

It's been a bit since I've read a good, well-crafted and pointed bitch-slapping. This qualifies. :D

Yappo's NegroWhisperer© powers are as weak as a wet piece of steno paper to begin with and are easily dismantled by anyone, but underneath the ability of someone like Obama, they get reduced to atoms before the attempt can even leave his sweating fingertips onto keyboard. Small wonder he keeps these pathetic fantasias of a world where Obama wasn't better than Cheeto on every level in being a president on repeat.

The yap is all he has for a sucker's self-succor. Let him have his fun. ;)

The research said Buttigieg could not get past the anti gay element in the black vote- where he had virtually nil support.

I now predict that Sanders Black supporters will try to take Klobuchar out. Sanders has some seriously unpleasant people backing him. And he will not deny them.

Nah, don't pin this retreat on Black people, there's a whole lotta reasons we weren't feeling Petey and his being gay ain't one of 'em. Dead that fucking tired canard.

Dude backed out because someone higher than him read him the morning papers and he finally listened, because being a possible VP pick with your name still hot is better than flaming out on stubbornness. Ask Beto, he knows 'bout that life now.

The more moderates that get taken out, the stronger Biden's hand becomes.

I sort of see a Biden/Warren ticket being touted after the Super Tuesday primaries--which is pretty much what was being discussed at the beginning of primary season. Warren has to do a bit better than she has been doing in the voting, though.

OK, but if I am wrong and I hope I am, what are your "whole lotta reasons?"

And I am not pinning anything on Black people- only Sanders Black people. He has some very intolerant supporters. Warren is dead in the water, but Klobuchar is an obvious target because of her Minnesota base. They will try to get her out before she builds any momentum.

I am prejudiced though - against Sanders who from the left is almost as bad as Trump from the right. Can't stand the old fraud. :)

I think doing a great job in a campaign
would imply some sort of positive result.

Oh, but he has "accomplished" something. Already touting how he was the first gay Presidential candidate and has made the world such a better place for LGBT community. Doing his best to spin this as a positive. Blah.

his speeches were written by Obama's speech writer in 2008 and used by Obama in 2008:D
