What Are You Thinking? Continued 6

How I very nearly put mango chutney, instead of jam, in my porridge this morning.
That would have been a bad meal.

Are you sure?

I'm slightly tempted. Is that weird?

(Also, maple syrup is really good on porridge :))

I can imagine syrup is delicious :)

But I'm happy for someone else to take up the chutney-porridge challenge and report back (in my new foods thread, perhaps :D ) !

I’m thinking how I’ve never had porridge and I’m actually not sure how it’s different from oatmeal.

Sometimes I like to watch Lifetime movies.

Daily here. They are a fucking vice. I watched one over weekend called Deadly Cyber Bully and some dumb high school girl ended up getting bullied off the side of a cliff. Those movies entertain me when dumb fucks here cant.

I used to turn that song up as loud as whatever device was playing whenever I heard that song in high school.

I pestered local DJs to tell me what album to find it on, bought the CD, then annoyed my parents and neighbors listening to it on repeat.

So incredibly out of character for that 'artist.'

I am thinking that you should come to Chicago so I can buy you that beer.

I wonder what it is about me that makes my eyes well with tears and my heart thumping my chest every time I hear the song "Rising of the Moon."

Even though the first time I heard it was maybe four months ago on a street in Galway played by buskers I cannot escape how evocative that song is.

If I believe my parents, there is not a single ounce of Gaelic or Celtic blood in my Slavic veins but for some reason all of that music and scenery just, for lack of a more scientific term, gets to me...
