I have seen the future: Donald Trump is going to get worse

The only thing Donald Trump didn’t do in his victory-lap appearance in the East Room on Thursday was announce the pending arrest of Adam Schiff or Nancy Pelosi. He did everything else. He told his roomful of hacks and sycophants that the impeachment trial “was all bullshit.” They cheered. He called the Democrats and lone Republican who favored his impeachment and removal from office “the crookedest, most dishonest, dirtiest people I’ve ever known,” “lowlifes,” “stone-cold crazy,” “evil,” “sick,” “corrupt,” “scum,” “bad,” “horrible,” “vicious” and “leakers.” Stammering, wheezing, snorting and sniffling, he said those who impeached him were “mean.” His fans applauded. They screamed. They laughed: Fox host Laura Ingraham; Rep. Louie Gohmert of Texas, whom Trump called “so great, so tough, and so smart”; Rep. Devin Nunes of California, “this congressman who kept going into basements, into files, he’ll find any document”; and Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio, a “top, top wrestler.” Every single one of them laughed and shouted their encouragement as the man who has told more than 15,000 lies since taking office called his Democratic enemies “liars.”

Fasten your seat belts, it's gonna' get rough!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Trump retweets unflattering #orangeface picture of himself — and then compliments his own hair

If many in the public had not seen the viral photo of Donald Trump with his windblown hair and what appears to be a substantial amount of make-up plastered on his face, they likely have seen it now after the president retweeted with a complaint that it is “fake news.”

Late Friday night the photo was widely shared after it was posted to Twitter by an unverified account called “White House Photos” (@photowhitehouse).

Critics blast ‘absurd’ plan to put ‘garish’ Trump in charge of architectural style for all new federal buildings

In a fascinating article, The New York Times shared the news that the Trump administration is proposing an executive White House order to decide on architectural style for all new federal buildings — to make them look akin to the classical style of the White House itself.

It’s less the choice in architecture itself that is striking as the fact that the White House believes that there needs to be a singular approach set by Donald Trump, a guy who has proved himself to be as uninterested in the arts as could be possible. But architecture? I guess as a builder, Trump sees himself as an expert.

Trump see himself as an expert in all things, how could you'all have missed that???

Elizabeth Warren takes hilarious shot at Mike Pence for being Trump’s lapdog

Liz with a slap shot that rattled the boards!:D

Speaking in New Hampshire Sunday night, Warren was asked by a supporter who could be her vice president. However, the way the person asked the question was what made the audience roll with laughter.

“Who is going to be your Mike Pence?” the man asked. “Who is going to look at you with adoring eyes?”

“I already have a dog,” Warren joked.

:D

‘We’re hurting’: New Hampshire residents aren’t seeing the ‘blue collar boom’ Trump brags about

Witte notes that the unemployment rate in Berlin, New Hampshire is only 3%, but he explains why that figure doesn’t tell the whole story. Certainly, 3% unemployment is preferably to the 10% national unemployment rate that Obama was battling in November 2009, according to BLS data. As Witte reports, however, Berlin residents “say just about the only jobs available pay minimum wage with no benefits as out-of-pocket health-care costs surge. The last elementary school shuttered last year, capping a long-term exodus of young families. The once-bustling downtown is so scarred by closures, demolitions and fires that it looks, according to the city’s mayor, ‘like a bomb was dropped in the middle of it.’”

The number of traumatic injuries among American service people from Iran’s missile attack has reached 109.

Trump is now trying to implicate Romney in Ukraine conspiracy theory that led to his impeachment

“Trump over the weekend retweeted several conservative personalities and stories attempting to connect the Republican senator to the Ukrainian energy company Burisma and its former board member Hunter Biden, two parties at the center of Trump’s attempted quid pro quo,” wrote Tina Nguyen for Politico. “The allegation was featured in several far-right blog posts: A senior advisor from Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign was on Burisma’s board of directors, and that by voting to impeach Trump last week, Romney was covering for his fellow swamp crony.”

Did Rudy find something in Kiev?

‘Bill Barr is eviscerating the rule of law’: Experts stunned as DOJ abruptly changes course on Roger Stone sentencing

According to reports, the Justice Department is gearing up to give an entirely new sentencing recommendation for Roger Stone, walking back its earlier recommendation that he serve seven to nine years in prison.

“The Department finds seven to nine years extreme, excessive and grossly disproportionate to Mr. Stone’s offenses,” a DOJ source told Fox News. The source also claimed the decision was made before President Trump tweeted that it was a “miscarriage of justice.”

Third Roger Stone prosecutor resigns in protest amidst chaos at Bill Barr’s DOJ

Three federal prosecutors have resigned from the Department of Justice after Attorney General Bill Barr intervened to seek a lighter sentence for Roger Stone after complaints from the president on Twitter.

Aaron Zelinsky was the first prosecutor reported to have resigned, which was quickly followed by reports Jonathan Kravis also resigned.

Multiple outlets are now reporting Adam Jed has become the third prosecutor to resign.

Russian state media boasts Trump acquittal will put him even deeper in Kremlin’s pocket

According to a report in the Daily Beast by Russian media expert Julia Davis, commentators on Russian state media are rubbing their hands in glee at the acquittal of Donald Trump by the GOP-controlled Senate and see the president as, once again, easy prey for Kremlin manipulation.

As she notes, “Having predicted this outcome for his impeachment trial, Russian experts and state media pundits are anticipating beneficial side effects for the Kremlin as Trump is more Trump—and more Russia’s Trump—than ever.”

Hillary Clinton dunks on Trump for acting like a ‘failed-state fascist’ for intimidating Roger Stone’s judge

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton harshly criticized President Donald Trump on Tuesday.

Clinton, who attended Trump’s third wedding, blasted her 2016 election opponent after he sent a tweet going after Judge Amy Berman Jackson.

Hillary Clinton

@HillaryClinton

Do you realize intimidating judges is the behavior of failed-state fascists? Just asking! https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1227408775855976449

Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump

Is this the Judge that put Paul Manafort in SOLITARY CONFINEMENT, something that not even mobster Al Capone had to endure? How did she treat Crooked Hillary Clinton? Just asking! https://twitter.com/katiephang/status/1227286936701718530

Trump should just pardon Stone — because dragging this out will destroy the DOJ: Ex-FBI lawyer

On CNN Tuesday, former FBI General Counsel James Baker suggested that as bad as it would be for President Donald Trump to pardon his former campaign strategist Roger Stone, he might as well do it now — because the turmoil he is creating at the Department of Justice over the case, and the resignations of career prosecutors, is doing even worse damage to the country.

“While I am proud of the prosecutors, this is a bad day for the Justice Department,” said Baker. “And everybody knows that the president is going to pardon Roger Stone. So just do it. Do it now, and don’t wait for the day after the election when you are going to do it. It is better to frankly abuse that power of the pardon power than trash the Department of Justice. So I would say, Mr. President, just go ahead and pardon him, and jump to what is going to happen.”

Trump removes all doubt — and congratulates Bill Barr for meddling in Roger Stone prosecution

President Donald Trump boasted that Attorney General William Barr was corrupting the Department of Justice to help out his friends caught up in the Russia probe.

Four prosecutors abruptly resigned from Roger Stone’s case after Barr appeared to intervene and reject their sentencing recommendation, and Trump removed all doubt that his attorney general was involved in a Wednesday morning tweet.

“Congratulations to Attorney General Bill Barr for taking charge of a case that was totally out of control and perhaps should not have even been brought,” Trump tweeted. “Evidence now clearly shows that the Mueller Scam was improperly brought & tainted. Even Bob Mueller lied to Congress!”

Lisa Murkowski wilts after reporters confront her with evidence Trump has gotten worse since acquittal

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), who last week voted to acquit President Donald Trump on abuse of power and obstruction of Congress charges, admitted to reporters on Wednesday that she’d seen no indications that the president had been chastened by his impeachment.

Per New York Times reporter Nicholas Fandos, Murkowski was asked if she’d seen any evidence that Trump had learned anything since being impeached over a scheme to shake down the Ukrainian government to get it to announce investigations into his political rivals.

“There haven’t been very strong indicators this week that he has,” Murkowski admitted.

Funny how that happens when you don't slap him on the pee pee for fuckery!:)

‘It’s just another scandal’: White House flack flails on Fox News after Trump is snared in Stone sentencing

White House Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley insisted on Wednesday that President Donald Trump did not press for a reduced sentence for longtime friend Roger Stone although he tweeted the sentiment publicly.

During an interview on Fox News, Gidley was asked if “anyone at the White House” pressured Attorney General William Barr or the Justice Department to reduce Stone’s sentence.

“Unequivocally, no,” Gidley said. “The president addressed this yesterday in the Oval Office. He did not talk to Attorney General Barr about this before the sentence. In fact, the Attorney General and the DOJ made very clear that they made this decision before any tweet [from the president] went out. They made this decision on their own.”

WH selling 'another bridge" to the people?:)

Trump is now openly flaunting his manipulation of the DOJ for ‘nakedly political and corrupt ends’

In his column for the Washington Post this Wednesday, Greg Sargent writes that President Trump is “now openly flaunting his success in manipulating law enforcement for nakedly political and corrupt ends,” citing his leveraging the Justice Department to ramp down the sentencing recommendation for his longtime confidant, Roger Stone.

According to Sargent, Trump is openly allowing Attorney General Bill Barr to “delegitimize” the investigation of Stone entirely.

With the advice and consent of the Senate!:)

Top Dem says Attorney General Barr ‘has no choice’ but to resign for acting as Trump’s ‘henchman and political operative’

Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), who serves on the Judiciary Committee, is blasting Barr after the DOJ intervened in the case of Roger Stone, President Donald Trump’s confidant and former campaign advisor. President Trump on Wednesday thanked Barr publicly for “taking charge” and reducing the DOJ’s sentencing recommendation in Stone’s case.

Blumenthal, who served as a U.S. Attorney and as the Attorney General of Connecticut, calls Barr’s actions in supporting Trump’s personal agenda “unprecedented.” He says Barr has become Trump’s “henchman” and a “political operative.”

The Connecticut Democrat says he is also asking for Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham to call Barr to testify, and has asked the Justice Dept. Inspector General to investigate.

Fat Chance Ms Lindsey going to call Billy up to explain himself?

Attorney General William Barr agrees to testify before Jerry Nadler’s House Committee over ‘numerous concerns’

The Department of Justice and the House Judiciary Committee have confirmed that Attorney General William Barr will testify at the end of next month.

In a statement, Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler said that Barr would appear before the committee on March 31 “to address numerous concerns regarding his leadership of the Department of Justice and the president’s improper influence over the department and our criminal justice system.”

Looks like Jerry is dragging Barr's hulk in though!:D:D:D
