Story Idea - Gamer Girl

I recently saw the movie Gamer again, and there is part in the movie where we see one of the characters working, she is a character in an online game. Basically she is under the control of a person playing online and is used as an avatar with other people. They do whatever the player wants and has no control. Essentially ends up being a sex toy I guess.

I just think it would make for some interesting scenarios if someone were to be pressured into being one of those characters or doesn't understand what they are actually being paid to do and gets played by some stranger online. They feel everything and all their thoughts are clear but all they can do is experience it.

More like a reluctant/mind control sort of story. I just like the idea of being in the game as a real person but not having any control over what you do and it is up to someone else completely.

It seemed clear to me when the OP said "I just think it would make for some interesting scenarios..." they were offering a story suggestion.

I am a hetero male. There are women I have no chance of any sex with, in that they are not interested in men. If I could pay the money to some company and ride in a woman's body, controlling what she does and says, I might actually be able to seduce a lesbian. (Or better yet, tempt a lesbian into seducing me!) The woman I'm riding in could be totally hetero as well, and not enjoy this at all, or she could be lesbian, but have no interest in the woman I've picked out, and be just as unhappy with her situation.

The company that hires the puppets would surely have a contract, and that contract might set what fines would be payable if the gamer were to violate the limits set by the puppet so hired, but if the gamer is wealthy enough, the fines don't matter to them, and the gamer is in for a rough time, with a preset amount of extra pay. (Assuming the puppet is actually the recipient of the funds from the fine(s))

Ideally someone I know sees me as someone they can 'play" and controls me in the game area, you could either be played by another or be the other player controlling someone else who approaches me. The person playing me just wants to see me get used now and have sex so is more than willing to participate.

Why not simply avoid the whole concept of who's controlling whom, and just leave it as both are being controlled. I mean, the whole concept of being controlled to have sex, is that you're doing sex WITH someone else, yeah?

By leaving the question of who is in control in the dark, you could probably extend the story out several chapters while always guessing, but never finding out! It then becomes a thriller; a roller coaster in the dark.

Tell it from both sides, and stop the silliness of discussing who's on top!

There was a story in some anthology of stories so allegedly by a famous enough author, but I don't remember. The story was called "Passengers" I think.

Aliens or something was invaded Earth... at least people think it could be aliens, but no one knows anything for sure. It just that some people sometimes obviously lose control over themselves and go off, possessed, to do completely inconsequential stuff. Often sexual, usually with others allegedly likewise controlled. Afterwards they usually have no recollection about what they did possessed, but sometimes there dream-like memories. Society try to adapt. People try to ignore obviously possessed persons, it somewhat shows on the faces. Being possessed is an universal excuse, and yes, it likely gets abused, but that's bad style.

A guy wakes up with headache, and two lost days, according to the network date. He's late to work, and decides there no hurry to get there. He walks out and down the street without a clear goal. He wonders is he still possessed. He sees a girl sitting on the church steps, she seems familiar, but he don't know why. Had he been with her while possessed? He shouldn't, it's against the etiquette of ex-possessed, but he sits down next to her. She doesn't react at first. He wonders is she possessed -- still? Eventually they do speak. Both have indeed woken up from a possession recently. Neither ever mention it, but it's implied she too think they might have had sex while controlled. They connect like that. They need to eat, and he dare to invite her to a date. But before they reach the restaurant, her face twitch, eyes glaze over and she storms away. Possessed?
