Well, in boring news today. It is very warm, windy as fuck, but no rain yet. Hoping it holds out until I go home but not giving good odds on me keeping power. Just watched a tree come down in out parking lot. It missed the cars. Woody has not shown up all week. Met a new hire yesterday for our sales department. She started talking about crystals and energy. Thought she might try to sell me on vagina crystals or candles, but she did not. Was trying to determine if she was high or stupid, then I told her that I had something expedited and it would probably be one or two days. She asked me what that means. I was confused because I didn't use business double talk, I specified the expected time frame, thus asked her "what does what mean?". She replied, "expedite". Well, I have my answer. Though I will give her props for asking what she did not understand. I give her 3 days before her boss realizes she is an idiot, I will be very surprised if she is able to make it through training. It isn't really that hard of a position, but I suspect she will not be able to learn the order entry system or product information necessary to be able to sell it.

in local news, apparently we have a teenage fight club. Cops are investigating, not sure what they will actually do. They are quite obviously mutual combatants based on the videos, and functioning in an organised way. They are not damaging property, not trespassing. I guess maybe if they catch them in the act, they might be able to fine for disturbing the peace.

in florida woman news. Husband's first words were I want a separation, next were don't tase me honey, followed by a lot of ouch.

If it’s any consolation we have a storm heading our way in the UK over the weekend. Looks like it might get a little bit hairy for a day or 2 on Saturday and Sunday

Well, one thing to understand about America, is you can't actually ask questions like that. Sure we do have laws of our country, but mostly we are govern by state laws. So it depends on where you are standing. in extreme examples something may not be a crime in one state and can land you 25 years in prison in another. Laws and penalties can only have small variances or extreme variances. Stun guns and tasers are legal in about 1/2 to 2/3rds of the states, banned in like 5 of the states, and the rest have random restrictions possibly based on the city or licensing (such as you have to pay a fee, pass a background check, and pass a safety course)

Florida is on the more lenient side when it comes to weapons and they are legal completely legal/

Well, hopefully it won't be bad there. our storms haven't really moved in yet, and should pass quickly, but when I left the city, work was without power and street lines were down, but I am sure it is just another tree on a power line. just wind and tornado warning right now, and it should be calm by 1am. 50/50 I don't wake up on time and wake up to no power though.
