The State of of the Union Snowflakes' Angst Thread.

I liked the part where Trump had his foot shoved up the women in white asses, making them stand for one thing, and not stand for the next. The way he juxtaposed what they would stand for and not stand for was brilliant. Of course there were a few dissenters who were smart enough to realize Trump was working them over hard and they stood a lot more.

A thread as a safe space to express your outrage over the smug tone and outrageous lies told to the nation from the sacred halls of congress by "Impeached" President of the United States, Donald John Trump.

Shocking, I know that he refused to be humbled until at least his acquittal on the strictly partisan charges as scheduled for tomorrow.

*chuckle*

I never watch that shit.
I'll read some of the wrap-up commentary,
but that's about it...

I wondered if that was the female battalion of the Democrat KKK.:D

I slept through it. I still don't want to watch it, but here's a vid for anyone who does: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgfr1h1JwXA

Generally how I view these.. I rarely watch them and just read the transcript. This one was worth a watch though.

I watched it all the way through because I figured how often do you get to see an impeached president give the State of the Union the day before his acquittal. I wondered if he would take a premature Victory lap and snatch defeat from the jaws of Victory. I figured it had every possibility of being epic in one way or another.

It was great the way he got the Dems to plant their feet. The delivery wasn't really his best. He was a little bit tentative. You kind of sensed a little seething anger that obviously they had carefully coached him to hold back.

The little, planned vignettes were very effective. Very emotional as they were intended to be.

I listen to the Democratic response. Apparently they don't get an economic news in Michigan including how well Michigan is doing. Their plan is more money did waste on colleges Union apprenticeships and raising the minimum wage well there's something to Aspire to.

I think I'll just go out and grab my own piece of the Roaring Twenties. Hi ho hi ho it's off to work I go

Yes, invest everything you've got in the Trump market. The Roaring Twenties is an excellent analogy.

I'll be content if this current set of favorable market conditions continues for as little as two or three years. This could have Romney recovery four years ago and just petering out now. For that matter, it could have been the Obama recovery six years ago if they hadn't had that ACA sideshow.

Me too, my retirement date is two years closer under Trump. Now I only hope that domestic enemy Gavin Newsom doesn't drive down the selling price of my house before then.

I am retired and my retirement fund
keeps growing faster that I draw upon it.

So yeah.
The Democrats have got me sold on higher taxes!

:nods:

Ma’dam Speaker.... The President of the United States.

That opening line is going to sound so sweet when Trump steps foot in the chamber of Congress that brought impeachment articles against him.

Pouring salt in their open wounds😎

Tee Hee :D

Yup, that's what I would expect from a Deplorable, a two or three year time horizon.

One term to be Congresswoman AOC whined about Rush getting the PMOF,

“First of all, the Presidential Medal of Freedom is an extraordinarily sacred award. We’re talking about putting someone on the same level as Rosa Parks in terms of their contributions to American progress.”

She forgets that Obama gave it to Joe Biden.

You need to take some time and study why the Great Depression happened. There are some stark differences between then and now. One big difference is coasting on a GDP growth 2% and a stable fed rate while at a near full employment.. Banking capitalization is a big change in fed regulations.

If you do your homework stocks and bonds is a great way to invest.
