Well I am just happy that they are saying we should not get another big storm for a another week or so. Some little stuff, but nothing to clean up from. I'll take it lol.

Hooray for no winter weather!! We're still mild here, just above freezing and has been sunny. I'll take that over freezing rain and endless grey like it usually is.

I had a quick conversation with a friend the other day and she was telling me that part of the problem she has when talking to some people is they have little, or are willing to share little about themselves. It seems like they want to hear about her, and hear from her, but contribute little to the conversation themselves. I wonder how many people avoid conversations because this happens, a one-way talk.

People come and go, they are here then gone, it really is just like that. Sometimes you click and share different ways to communicate, sometimes you talk for just a day and sometimes you talk for years. You just never know. Is it a risk to put yourself out there? To try and find a person or two to share thoughts and ideas with? Sure, but what isn't a risk. Smile and say hello to someone today.

Isn't it an a great feeling when you see you have a message waiting for you? Even a better feeling when you can connect a bit from the sender? I know many messages received are not from people you have already spoken with and several of those will be dismissed, but what about the few that work for you? The ones that trigger thoughts and make you want to talk all day? Those are the ones that make it worth it

A simple hello can make someone's day. A little, friendly interaction can turn a bad day into a decent one. Just be kind and see what happens.

Isn't it a wonderful thing when you are sitting in silence, just relaxing, but hoping to find a person to talk to a bit. To just have a little conversation to break up the day a bit. Then, Poof! A message pops up, but not just a "Hey there!" but a full conversation starter. It is amazing what a nice message and conversation can do.
